I am sad that Ragin' Bull turning on the Boogie Woogie Man did not contain the line "AND MY NAME IS NOT WILLY-WILLY, YOU BLABBERIN' ESTUPIDO!"

Everyone just quit Prime Time Wrestling because of the new set. Mean Gene jumps in Monsoon's grave within seconds.
They also forgot to edit out "Jesus Christ Superstar" a few episodes ago.

Haha, I never noticed that in the first run-down for the 94 Rumble, the captions confuse who Samu and Fatu are.

More like something I've learned because of the Network, not necessarily through it, but I'm at the point in Monday Night Raw's history where "The Macho Midget" is a thing, and I went down a rabbit hole and learned that Tiger Jackson, who played MM, is apparently still wrestling as of this year. Tiger was also behind the facepaint as the Ray Apollo Doink's sidekick Dink for a year

On the Raw after Royal Rumble 1994, we learn that Jeff Jarrett has to cheat to beat jobbers.

Okay, what's with all those short NWA World Championship Wrestling shows after the GAB Tour '86, especially the ones before Starrcade 1986?
The year before that you had 1 1/2 hour shows that gave plenty of time to highlight every match on the card and now you got those 30 minute episodes that have one long Starrcade Control Center segment in between. From the looks of it, its not that the WWE cut out any sensitive material but that these shows really are that short without commercial breaks. Did the Superstation air a super-hot TV show right after during this period or sth?

The onslaught of "topicality" on commentary in these early 94 Raws is excruciating.

The onslaught of "topicality" on commentary in these early 94 Raws is excruciating. Please don't get me started. I literally can't bare Vince/Macho's commentary bc they don't shut up about celebrities and somehow shoe-horn them into every comment about every match. Its frustrating on so many levels and I stopped watching WWF 1994 because of it. Raw is literally the worst show on television that year. Its 1 hour of Vince/Macho going on about celebrities while squash matches and pointlessly long Jerry Lawler promos interlude.

Just finished Chi-Town Rumble '89. For all the shit people like to give him, Jim Cornette had better ring psychology and could throw better punches than 95% of today's wrestlers.

I don't know if this is the case for these shows but tbs would air braves and Hawks games a lot and they'd have shorter shows on those nights.

This tv leading into New Blood Rising is worse then I remember but I can't wait for this 3 way shoot fight between Goldberg,Nash and Steiner.
Why do they bother having formats when nothing ever seems to be on them?

Man, in the build-up to Summerslam 94, Bruce Hart goes into business for himself hardcore on the King's Court on Raw. Just jumping down everyone's throat, ignoring cues.

I love that after the Judy Bagwell on a forklift match debacle everyone involved is sent home legit and not mentioned the next night. What a terrible PPV New Blood Rising was especially seeing the New Blood stop being a thing a couple months prior.

I learned that Kane is not the first person in wrestling to be referred to as a "Big Red Machine":

It isn't an accident he has been on WWF/WWE television pretty sparingly, he's a parasite. Apparently, in the planning for Bret vs Vince years later, everyone was talking and Bruce was trying to get more spotlight to do stuff in, and Bret rightly told them all to settle down and consider that they might f*** over Nattie if they cause issues, and Bruce acted like he had no idea how she could possibly face repercussions over his actions, as if he is that dense.

It still amazes me that we almost never got Bret vs Owen because Vince & Pat wanted it to be Bret vs Bruce cause they saw Owen as an enhancement guy and Bret had to beg to get them to change their minds.
