Make fun of Bret Hart all you want, but leave The Simpsons out of it!

Was watching RAW from June 2002. Booker T says "King Booker... I like the sound of that."
Foreshadowing for years before it happens. I chuckled.

There was once a time when King Kong Bundy wrestled... ...WITH HAIR!!! I see the evil scheme in which they transform William Regal into a thumb is well under way

When Owen Hart joined The Nation he started biting peoples ears, this was only a month after Mike Tyson was involved with the WWF.

I learned that Drew Carey had a PPV comedy show the week after Royal Rumble 2001, because they plugged the damn thing about 7488189280 times throughout the show.

And despite wrestling now being way less popular, I guarantee you that more people remember Drew Carey in the Rumble than remember his PPV at all.

The New Age Outlaws Raw debut.....oof. Billy Gunn stole an 80's businesswoman's blazer, and Road Dog told us that if we didn't know then "We better page somebody".

I learned the definition of irony as fans chanted "you can't wrestle" at Mike Knox as he faces the Sandman.

I'd love to see if at one point he was decent in the ring. Because I remember when he got moved to raw and seemed to sober up he looked ok in the ring

I'd love to see if at one point he was decent in the ring. Because I remember when he got moved to raw and seemed to sober up he looked ok in the ring Sandman...and I like the guy, but Sandman at his peak had about 3 or 4 spots that he could do REALLY well. The rest was just selling for his opponent and hardcore stuff.

On the 8/2/2001 episode of Smackdown! Jericho is insulting Steph when Edge & Christian show up. They stop him from saying Jerichoholics and say "Edgeheads" and "People who like to cheer Christian" instead. Kinda funny cause Edge would use his term the next year and Christian would shorten his in 2003 to just Peeps.

When DX invaded Nitro on April 27, 1998, Raw was live & Nitro was taped. Nitro aired in 2 parts due to the NBA Playoffs, later that night at 12:30 AM ET & on Tuesday from 6-8 PM ET. So, even if DX would somehow make it on Nitro, no one would see it because WCW would have probably edited them from the show.

I am watching Saturday Night's Main Event from April of 1991. It's after WrestleMania VII. Randy Savage is on commentary after the Ultimate Warrior retired him. Despite the emotional reunion with Elizabeth after the match and the big face pop it got, he still has some heel tendencies. While running down the card, he calls Sgt. Slaughter a "great American" and Slaughter returns the compliment when Savage interviews him in the locker room. He talks about how he doesn't have much sympathy for Warrior being beaten down during the match since he retired Macho at Mania (that makes sense). And when Hogan ran down to save Warrior from The Triangle of Terror and The Undertaker, Savage suggested we could see a double casket stuffing. When did Savage go full babyface? Was it after he proposed to Elizabeth? I thought the post match angle at WrestleMania VII was his face turn.

There was once a time when King Kong Bundy wrestled... ...WITH HAIR!!! He looks like he's wearing the toupee his manager, Gary Hart wore during his GWF run.
