Instant banning.

If only Yukes released just one of their japanese games in the states. Sigh, then we could move on from No Mercy

In the original N64 No Mercy game, not the emu version - did anyone figure out who all the spare faces in the edit section were for .... some I recognised like Big Show but others remained a mystery. Anyone know or point me in the direction of answer on the internet? db.gamefaqs.com/console/n64/file/wwf_no_mercy_caw_faces.txtSome of them are wrestlers from the attitude area, others are from the Japanese titles of the game (forgot) Oh and I vote No Mercy because... I am like the most obsessed NM fan on the WC board?

So many great games to choose from. But, I had to go with the popular choice and picked No Mercy. Not only is it the best wrestling game of all time, but the best video game of all time.
My friend told me the Backyard Wrestling is a great game, so I bought it for $5.00 at Media Play, and boy did I get ripped off.

HCTP, I love the story mode, and it has some of my favorite wrestlers in it.

Except for killing fools as Vader on VPW and having him yell "BETA TUBE!" (at least thats what whoever they got to yell "VADER TIME!" sounds like)

1. Ridiculous amounts of slowdown 2. Crazy flickering 3. Character models sinking into the canvas 4. The ridiculous animation when you get up while holding the R button (where they'll crouch but magically spin to face the opponent.) 5. The mysterious data wipe 6. The story mode was pretty bland (just TV storylines moved over to your system) 7. Characters moved like they had sticks shoved up their ass. 8. Clunky character models in general (leagues above WCW/NWO Revenge and WM2000 though) 9. All faces in create-a-wrestler mode were just faces from the various superstars. 10. The lack of impact from any weapon... Oh yeah, I forgot about those. Not to mention the ability to make a CAW excessively superhuman, the crappy rosters, not enough singles wrestlers besides the main wrestlers, and the fact that moves like the very beginning of a Superkick will put your opponent through a table, and you have stuff like a foam bull, and cheese as weapons.

No Mercy. It's probably the best modern wrestling game I've played. Others like WCW Vs. The World and Power Move Pro Wrestling for PSOne were good, but not at the level No Mercy was.

First wrestling game I ever owned was Tag Team Wrestling (later released for NES, and in the poll) but for the Atari 2600.

WWF Wrestlefest was the greatest of all time. Exciting Hour - don't know what it goes by in the US. This one: That would be Mat Mania/Mania Challenge in the US....my #2 choice. The original Tag Team Wrestling arcade version would be #3 for me.
