I love Mean Gene as much as the next guy, but not everyone needs a podcast. Though I can see this one easily being better than the "Bill Watts/I don't get booking today/Sonic Peach Tea" hour with Jim Ross.

Good God...
So, we've got:
Austin Jericho Cornette Kevin Sullivan Goldberg Konnan (mlw radio) Flair... and that's just on-screen people, not all the Smarky-podcasts like The LAW.

So everyone in wrestling has a podcast? We're going to hear every wrestling story a million times over by 10,000 different people?? Wrestling history is already like Rashomon, with the same events recounted from different perspectives in shoot after shoot so there won't be much difference. The upside to this is no money from the podcasts will go to scumbags like Feinstein, unlike the shoots. That may be the smartest reference we've seen on the forum in a while. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

Hey, gene has been a part of 3 major organizations at the height of their popularity. He should have some amazing stories.

His shoot interview was awesome. I would give it a listen. I wish he interviewed more obscure guys like Dr D David Schultz and Ken Patera.

Haha, in fairness he hasn't mentioned Sonic in many months now I think, I havn't noticed anyway. As for Gene I enjoy all the old school talk so I'm sure Ill download some of them if there are good guests on. Even if stories have been told before I think different combinations of guys talking about personal experiences from different eras creates more than enough content to delve into for these things.

"Todays guest is my dear, close, personal longtime friend, Alex Trebek."
"Thanks Jim, great to be here!"
