Ah well. She had a chance to actually play this year but she f***ed it up by not catering to Abi's psychotics. Tough break.

Jeezum Crow, that was tense. If Spencer can work his way back into this, it'll be a miracle. Is this a Cambodia post or a Cagayan post?

if its gonna be Spencer or Shirin, I'd say you have to vote Shirin just because you cant afford to lose another challenge. Knowing that a shuffle is probably at f18 or 16 I would think Spencer is a much smarter target since he has more people on the other side and is a much bigger threat going forward. If Jeff/PG don't end up going far I think they will look back on this first 2 votes and not using it to get either the player with the most ties(Spencer) or the cockroach (Abi). Vytas and Shirin were not viable long term threats imo and would have made perfect premerge shields.

What a shake up next week will be. Might give second life to the likes of Spencer and Fishbach, but might derail the surge of Varner

I heard the rumor they were going to 3, but it's exciting nevertheless.
What are the odds Spencer, Kass, and Tasha end up on the same tribe again?

7 of the 18 players left are either from SJDS or Cayagan. I would guess Kelley and Spencer will both end up in a very good spot with the shuffle unless one or both end up on a heavily old school tribe.

Hope Kelley brought her idol with her before the swap.

Hope Kelley brought her idol with her before the swap. Oh shit I hadn't even thought of that. That'll be an interesting situation.

so to draw comparisons to big brother, do you think the impending 3 tribe shuffle was pre determined, or production interfering on the spot to protect in house favorites such as Spencer? Even though Survivor has the benefit of not airing live so that any production rigging could be hidden, I think it more or less a clean production. Doubt they can produce extra buffs on the fly.

I would assume it was predetermined and planned beforehand in case any of the tribe dynamics were stagnant because of pregame alliances. I do think though that the challenge last week being an exact replica of something Joe won last season was to ensure the golden boy was not the 1st boot.

I have one favorite on each tribe but the problem is because I have a crush on both of them

So Shirin is gone? I had a meeting at work and had to miss the episode. yeah. Abi was being Abi and the majority alliance abandoned her and laughed at her antics. PG and her got into a mild shouting match, and Shirin didn't come to Abi's defense which pissed her off who really wanted to align with her. Jeff Varner lights a fire under Terry Deitz to play a new school social game and Terry gets Abi on his side. Varner showing his so far masterful game convinvces the rest of the tribe that one of Shirin and Spencer have to go because they are too game savy and aren't taking time off of the game to make personal connections. So Varner kinda ended the old-school vs new school sub alliances and pretty much made it Takeo vs Spencer and Shirin. In a 5-4 vote Spencer survives, and Shirin goes. But were going to 3 tribes of 6 next week, so expect major changes. Not much of the other tribe was shown tonight. Except Savage was telling emotional stories about his wife. Jeremy couldn't take it because he didn't want to get homesick so he walked away form the group. Fishbach assumed he was looking for an idol and mentioned it to the rest of the tribe but it rubbed them the wrong way. Much like how Takeo viewed Spencer/Shirin, Bayon feels the same about Stephen. Only difference is that Stephen looks more socially inept

Man, Varner is the best.
And I'm so sick of Abi already. Please don't let her derail the season.

Varner, Jeff effing Varner completely played Shirin and Spencer and lit a fire under everyone else in such a brilliant-masterful-way... Who'd a thought!
I voted him into the season, because he was from one of the original seasons and for entertainment value, since he was a funny guy. Didn't think he'd be that good of a strategist, but he's obviously been keeping up with the show from a pure fan perspective since he was on 15 years ago, I'm entertained by his pretty original play style.
Also I'm loving Abi. I missed Survivor Philippines, but entertainment value alone, she's bringing it every single time. Great personality to watch. There needs to be these types of explosive personalities. To think I thought she'd be the "Redemption" villain, and Kass was going to stay her kooky chaotic self, but it looks like the opposite is happening.
As for examining the edit. Kelley Wentworth, by far has the best "Winner's Edit" in the show right now. She's getting the right amount of scenes and content being shown with interesting little sound bytes and quotes here and there, showing how she continues to adjust to the game as it goes along, especially after having to turn on Spencer and Shirin, for the betterment of her second chance. I'm calling her as the winner of this season, or at least makes it very far.

Varner is a goddamn Disney villain and I LOVE IT. The only things he was missing from his "How poetic" confessional were a monocle, a fluffy white cat to pet, and a glass of brandy to swish around.

ugh a female alliance? surprised to see Vytas go so early EDIT: Nevermind I watched via dvr and just saw the votes casted Yeah arguably it was Vytas's work in woo-ing (sorry Woo) the ladies that prevented a female alliance. Shirin is the person to blame for Vytas going home over Abi, she played hard from the get go and got Spencer and Jeff to vote with her. I kinda hate Alpha Shirin in this season so far, she needs to go ASAP. On Ta Keo I'm rooting for both Kellys for the ladies, and Woo and Jeff for the guys. Man-- there's been multiple seasons where there were two Kelly contestants and they'd need to differentiate between them with a last initial, but this season even their last initials are the same-- AND they both have a last name ending in 'Worth'. Why do white parents love naming their daughters Kelly?? I know like 5 white female friends my age all named Kelly/Kelli/Kaley/etc. it's fairly ridiculous! This must explain Kelly Kelly's mysterious longevity as a talentless WWE Diva... /tangent Bayon I really like almost everyone on that tribe but specifically pulling for Tasha/Kass and Jeremy/Joe. Wow I'm on fire this season so far, almost everything I predicted came true. AND I got retro-actively justified in picking Kass in my favorites-- she's gonna try to be a Virtuous Kaotic Kass this time? Ehhh??? Jeremy's 'emotion' over the wife-story and Joe's 'old-school' playing tactics (already recognized as a big double-edged sword by everyone in game) are also possible 'winners edits' that power a nice Final 3 contestant run... I hope my Final Eight stay strong because it looks to be a great season for Jeff and Woo also-- Jeff comes outta nowhere to control the game, and getting Shirin out ASAP like I'd hope someone would (YESSS) and Woo was loyal till the end and proves that his gameplay will most likely earn him a spot in any great alliance due to his honesty in voting history. If the spoiler in the previews is true, Kelly WENT might wind up guaranteed to make it to the merge as long as she keeps her idol a secret (mayyyybe bring in one co-conspirator in case you need to make alliances, or just have an extra gambit to have a blindside option at tribal in tandem with the H. Immunity Idol).
