Have you ever been to ANY WWE live show and left feeling disapointed? Or recall seeing a really bad match?
I've been to several house shows, TV's, and a PPV. Always had a blast, and felt I got my money's worth, but then read online reviews and discovered it really wasn't "that good".
Anyone been disapointed seeing a live event? Share plz!

My first house show was in Cologne, Germany in 2007. Boy was that terrible. Arena was half-empty, yet our seats were in the nosebleed section, despite being not the cheapest category available. The crowd was half dead and the matches were mostly lackluster, with a fun Street Fight between Trips and Umaga as the only highlight.
Last month I've been to Takeover and Summerslam, so you could say I've paid my dues back then.

I went to a Smackdown taping in 2012. I should have known things were going to go badly when after being so pumped about having my best seats ever, they put a security guard right in front of me. That started the night off badly and it only got worse. They ran 10 (TEN! Not counting 2 dark matches and the NXT stuff) matches on a two hour taping, so as you can imagine, the wrestling action wasn't incredible. There were 4 matches featuring main event guys: Sheamus and Orton vs Del Rio and Jericho... DQ. Orton vs Del Rio.... DQ. Sheamus vs Jericho.... DQ. Bryan vs Big Show... Bryan wins by submission in 1:15 when Big Johnny pulls the screw job ending and calls for the bell. Also AJ beat Kaitlyn in 29 seconds, and there were theee other squashes (Ryback vs Slater, Cesaro vs Riley, and Brodus vs Hunico and Camacho) and a borderline squash (PTP vs Team Cobro.) Only the 3 DQs went over 5 minutes. Hell, only 4 matches altogether went over 3 minutes.
I was so disappointed, man. I guess it was cool to see some many guys even with the four in the WHC scene wrestling in 3 of the matches, but you can't get invested in a freaking match that you can blink and miss.

2007 or 2008, there were so many kids there, I wanted to kill myself.

Because wrestling is wrestling, pretty much any show I've been to I've been able to salvage some sort of enjoyment, but I've been to some stinkers.
The worst match I've ever seen that simultaneously had the most negatively vocal crowd (that wasn't doing it to be smarky) was at a house show in San Jose in 2006. It infamously featured the untelividsed insight WWE in ring debut of Vladimir Kozlov working under his real name Oleg Prudius. He wrestled against Rob Conway while he was right in the middle of his "Con Man" gimmick (he got zero reaction as per legend says is required).
It was easily the worst match I have ever seen. Kozlov botched everything and the crowd completely turned on him despite supposedly being the face in the match, leading to a massive "wheres our refund" chant. Not a big shock that they waited another two years before finally letting him wrestle on TV.

In terms of seeing a really bad match, Ricardo vs Santino at No Way Out was really bad, and I remember being surprised how bad it was. I always have a good time when I go to shows, though.

I remember people saying that the Raw where Nexus debuted was even worse live than on tv.

I can't say I've ever not had fun at a WWE show, but I did bear witness to a Jon Heidenreich (Little Johnny phase) vs. pre-Eugene Nick Dinsmore five star classic in 2003. At least a quarter of the building went to a concession stand or bathroom during this match.

I've only been to a house show in London back in 1995 where the main events were Diesel vs. Mabel and Shawn Michaels vs. IRS.
I was 10 years old though and so I had a blast.
Also went to a TNA taping around 2008 but was pretty drunk.

The only problem I have with kids at WWE shows is when they turn around and stare at for ages whenever I shout something, also there was one time when I had a kid behind me shout "Special Chocolate" at Mark Henry. The worst show I saw had the following card Sin Cara vs El Local (no not a Spanish Kane but Ricardo Rodriguez) The Uso's vs The Prime Time Players Kaitlyn vs Natalya Randy Orton vs Alberto Del Rio Wade Barrett and William Regal vs Ted DiBiase and Johnny Curtins in the early stages of the Fandango gimmick The Miz vs Kofi Kingston Sheamus vs Big Show I saw another one a year later in November 2013 which had a very weak undercard (members of 3MB were involved in 2 different matches) but having Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, John Cena and The Wyatts when they were still fairly new made up for it. At least I know I'm in for an amazing show with Takeover London!

I went to a show where Daniel Bryan was the advertised headliner and instead a day before the card is changed and the main event was Orton vs Big Show. So, yeah, I have attended a bad live event.

Jacksonville Smackdown after the Armageddon where Trips regained his title from Goldberg. When the highlights of the show were Vince having a dance off with Ernest Miller and Brock picking on poor Shannon Moore with his rigged bingo tumbler...oh boy.

Smackdown taping where JBL character forms. HHH was advertised, but he got traded back to RAW overnight.

Nah, all been pretty good. First one had the main event of 'Taker, Matt Hardy & Batista against Khali & two other people who I genuinely can't remember ATM.
Next one had DX & Jericho against Snitsky, Umaga & I wanna say Edge? At one point in the match, Hunter locked up with Snitsky, rolled out of the ring and asked for some gum for Snitsky, ended up being handed some tic-tacs by a little old woman, gave them to Snitsky, who threw them away & then Umaga grabbed 'em and stood on the apron eating them for a lot of the match.
Oh, and the Magnum Opus by far was Regal vs Orton for the WWE title, must've been a 20 minute match, some minor chants for Orton, but the arena was mostly behind Regal with thunderous chanting. Ended with Regal losing, after which he thanked up for attending and welcomed us all to RAW.
Honestly, I'm pretty happy with my live event experiences. Got to see 'Taker, Regal, Kane & Edge live, all my favourites from when I was a kid.
Oh, and on the TNA side of things, I got to see a Canadian Destroyer live, so that was awesome!

Went to their May 2014 house show in Birmingham, where the second half consisted of Los Matadores/Torito vs Drew/Heath/Swoggle, Funkasaurus Brodus (despite being a heel on TV) vs Jinder Mahal and Cena vs Wyatt in a terrible match. Thing is the first half was excellent with Sheamus/ALberto, Zayn/Sandow, Cesaro/Ziggler and a 3-way tag match with the Usos, the Rhodes and Harper/Rowan.

Haven't been to a show in 13 years, but I never had a bad experience when I went as a kid.
I did get a chance to take a pic with Kane before a show once, but was too scared. lol

Went to a house show in 2009 that featured Kane vs. Great Khali main event....with a dancing R-Truth joining Khali in the ring after a win.

Was at a house show in Leeds earlier this year. It was moved from a Monday night into a Sunday afternoon and the roster had to do another show in Manchester later that night. The late change of date and time meant that the arena appeared half empty and totally lacked an atmosphere.
The first two matches were fantastic, Balor v Neville and New Day v Cesaro/Kidd. But after that it seemed like everyone were taking it easy in order to save energy for the 2nd show later that night. Most of the wrestlers seemed to sleepwalk through their matches and the show culminated with a tedious and plodding Reigns v Big Show main event.
I think the ticket was only about £15 so I didn't feel like I'd wasted money, but I pity those who spent around £50 to see this dull half arsed show.

I saw smackdown once... That was really hard to watch, because it's shot like a tv show, and when they go to commercial nothing happens. So I remember watching a Matt Hardy match(back when he was good) then after the lights went out the guys left the ring, and then they waited like 2 mins while nothing went on, and then they went into the next segment. Almost every segment was like that. The only bright side to the event was ECW which was live, so they did things in between the breaks to keep the crowd hype.
