Tonight (Thur.) provides us an AFC West showdown with history on the line. With a win tonight, the Broncos set an NFL record with 13 straight divisions wins (currently tied with the 87-90 Niners at 12) and Peyton Manning needs on 134 yards to join some guy named Farve in the 70k club. None of that is assured though. Manning looked lost last week and didn't throw a TD for only the second time (I think) in his career while the KC offense rolled, though against vastly different opponents. KC's defense was firing on all cylinders but Denver wasn't far behind in domination either. People have been claiming the Chiefs will take the West for 3 years now and tonight they try once more to make that come true.
NOTE: This will serve as the home for all week 2 game chatter.

Prediction for me is Chiefs win. The Broncos just have too many hurt players and a small recovery window for them.

Peyton's first pass looks miles better than any of them from last week but not enough to get the first.

We still cannot seem to stop a decent back.

Hate that rule. Nothing Ware could have done that would have stopped him from hitting low after being shoved down.

I thought the Bronco's D was much improved this offseason.

Anybody else notice the first time Walt Anderson came on a graphic said "13th season as an NFL referee" and Jim Nantz says "Walt Anderson entering his 20th season as an NFL referee"

Pathetic. I guess this is why 18 took every snap no matter what.

Two great pass rushing defenses, two swiss cheese o-lines.

With that sack, Von is the 3rd fastest to 50 career sacks.

Punters are the stars of the first quarter....this looks familiar.
