Apparently the rumor is that he had an affair with a booster's wife. Given that the apparent point-of-origin is Colin Cowherd, I'm taking this rumor with an entire shaker of salt, and maybe some saltwater taffy. Yeah, this rumor is reliant upon Lane Kiffin coming through in a pressure situation. BOOM!!! Head shot.

Cincinnati redshirt junior QB Gunner Kiel, who was taken to the hospital on a stretcher, was able to fly back home with his teammates following Thursday's loss.

Bama's backup kicker arrested for a DUI. Ok, for the sake of going on the record I'd like to point out recent events in Bama history that will one day make a great "30/30 Low Tide" movie documenting the meteoric rise of Alabama football in the early 21st century and their downfall. Right now they are catching bullet after bullet and a perfect storm of events is shaping up to become a turning point. How many of the football or sports documentaries have we seen where they show the climb then start in with the "it all started going down when..." While they begin describing the fall. Bama has been to two consecutive major bowls and lost when they should have won. Their off field antics keep the papers in highlights, unfounded and random rumors of Lane Kiffen nailing a Saban family member, their fans are and have been violently out of control for the last several yrs (beating of LSU fan, beating of OU fan, beating of Loe Miss fan, Havey Updike etc.) there is always a peak and many times the valley has been more of a sheer cliff (Miami, Penn State, SMU, USC, Michigan, Texas). As unthinkable as it may be, this could literally be the time period we point to in ten years, as the point they started losing control. You simply cannot sustain the on-field success and keep the off-field excess from spiraling out of control. One certainly effects the other either direction. I'm not say No they are about to rattle off a losing streak. But it is possible that they are just beginning to lose it and not far away there may be 9-3 seasons with Citrus bowl appearances in their future bleacherreport.com/articles/2571872-can-a-dynasty-still-exist-in-todays-college-football^a scant 12 hrs passed since my post above and viola, Bleacher does a story about the very topic that I, the great and powerful ICBM opined upon in the Freakin Awesome Network football forum. I wonder if the author is a secret FAN poster? Andrew was it you!?

Purdue just gave Bowling Green the frickin' game with a personal foul with 30 seconds to go.
At least David Blough, FR-QB, looked good in a 35-28 loss.
WEAR THE DAMN GOLD, PURDUE!

Gameday has said if ND and UGA lose today they're going to Indiana. If Indiana holds on to the victory. They were up 31 to 10 over Wake Forest with a competent game for most of today, but they have gotten sloppy and sassy and Wake Forest now has a chance to tie the game.

And Wake Forest did not convert on downs, so Indiana escapes with the victory.
Again, winning sloppy, but they succeeded in the unthinkable; going 4-0 in nonconference play.
