Let's look at what happened tonight, he managed to have two incredible matches one right after the other, and was in the ring for a total of around 40 minutes. And not to mention he went full stop for both of them, that was the best Sting match in years. Hell I'll even wager his match with Kane is going to be great!

But he's not A man cause he hasn't beaten Cena.

He's as good as it gets, in terms of workhorse heel champion. If the writing/etc. was better around him, this would be one of the better WWE title reigns.

Seriously critical as I am of Kane at this point I think this is going to be a pretty damn good match between them.

He was impressive tonight with his conditioning and how fast-paced he managed to stay throughout, no doubt.
Though I'm going to debate the "incredible matches" part. Sting one was good but not anything special, Cena one was a logic-free big-move fest and those have worn out their welcome for me by now with how Cena seems to do them every single week now.

In terms of a "first time WWE champion" he's everything they could of hoped for. Sure initially it started off not well but he's found his stride and you don't see the nerves or resistance from him. His body language in the ring is great and he just shines out there in the spotlight.
If at least half the guys they give this type of push to work out like him WWE is set up great for a bright future.

I see him much like Austin right when 3:16 came out. He has everything going for him , is excellent in every aspect and all it will take is one great feud and he is going to explode in popularity.
He just has "it"

That Rollins cat is a great athlete. To wrestle two matches back to back like that is impressive.

While I haven't been as impressed with his sometimes-cowardly heel character (though I suppose most heel champs act like that sometimes, barring say, Brock), and I think I still prefer him as a heel, the pops he'll get as a legitimate great wrestler as a face will be tremendous.
It might have to be slow and organic, a bit like Cesaro or even Benoit finally winning the masses over simply via the sheer force of their wrestling abilities (though Seth does have more personality than Benoit showed of course, and hopefully less crazy). But I'd like to see it eventually.
Hold on to that brass ring, Seth.

But he's not A man cause he hasn't beaten Cena. And even if he somehow did, it wouldn't count until he did it 2 or 3 more times! And we all know that ain't happenin!!!

But he's not A man cause he hasn't beaten Cena. Cena is the ONLY man in that company.. According to Cena.

Seriously critical as I am of Kane at this point I think this is going to be a pretty damn good match between them. I don't really see any reason to think that myself. Kane is Kane and Rollins while great isn't a miracle worker and has had some terrible matches at times in his own right. For instance, I'm not entirely convinced I'm not still asleep from the match with Ambrose at Money in the Bank.

What impresses me most about last night was that they were two completely different matches/opponents, and Rollins was completely within himself the whole time. He's an extremely versatile wrestler.

Lies. Long time wrestling logic dictates that in order to be the man, he must beat Ric Flair.

But he's not A man cause he hasn't beaten Cena. Exactly. Until he beats John Cena, he's nothing. If he's already beaten him, the he has to do it 3, maybe 4 more times before he can truly be considered a man.
