I think "he takes his clothes and gives him a business suit, then burns his wrestling gear to absorb his powers" is older, but I'm not positive. |

i have seen Steen shirtless, as i know where the wrestlers stay when they go out for PWG shows in Los Angeles. my parents were coming out for a visit when i was stationed over there in the military, and by coincidence they got a room at the some hotel PWG always uses for the wrestlers fly in. so i'm in the parking lot waiting for them to show up, and then here comes a parade of wrestlers to the hotel (this was BOLA '12 weekend). about an hour later my parents show up, we check in, and the room was at ground floor right beside the pool. as we were walking in, all the wrestlers were swimming, including a shirtless Kevin Steen.
conspicuous by his absence, El Generico was not at the pool. in fact, come to think about it, i don't recall seeing him at the hotel, yet i know he was in town for BOLA because i saw him there. i mean Steen was at the hotel, Roderick Strong was at the hotel, Davey Richards was at the hotel, Eddie Edwards was at the hotel, Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, Michael Elgin, Drake Younger, Sami Callihan, and even a guy that kinda looked like Sami Zayn, were all at the hotel, but no El Generico. i guess he stayed at another hotel because he was Steen were still on the outs, but it would've been nice to see him bust out some sweet dives into the pool.
