Kinda sad to see Tyler Breeze set up to seemingly job again. He's getting dangerously close to CJ Parker territory.
Doesn't look like there's room for a match on this card, but I'm wondering about the rest of the women. Takeover London is only 2 months away from Respect, and that's not a lot of time to build a big time women's championship match..... Unlessssss Sasha takes the victory here.
One of the most exciting things about the tag team tournament is that there's a lot of ways this could go, and they all would make sense.

I am slightly annoyed that there isn't an NXT title match, because I want Sasha and Bayley to go on above it because they're that important, not because Finn isn't having a title match that night.

Finn is turning heel and that promo from this week's NXT confirmed it, IMO. He gets paranoid and jealous whenever anyone mentions the title and looked to kill Joe for touching it in the promo. Since I think Jordan and Gable are winning it all, I'll say they take advantage of it and cause Finn to strike Joe with the title and set up their win.

I have a funny feeling that if its Balor/Joe vs Mechanics in a semi finals match, that Dawson & Wilder will actually win to put over the tag team. Balor/Joe going all the way is almost too easy for NXT creative.

Balor/Joe going all the way is almost too easy for NXT creative. The idea of Mechanics vs Grand Amplitude in the finals is a thing of beauty. Of course, they're gonna have the two randomly paired tag teams in the finals instead. Also even though this won't be the best Takeover card, it shows NXT isn't afraid to take chances, rather than throw Vaudevillains in there, they're giving Mechanics a chance to work with Finn/Joe. Shows each wrestler actually matters on NXT.

I have high expectations for Sasha and Bayley's main event and have no doubts they can live up to them. Honestly, my expectations aren't that high for it but I think a lot of it has to do with the stipulation.

On the other hand they aren't booking an NXT title match as they know Sasha/Bayley is a big enough draw by itself.

I know he was most successful as a heel outside of WWE, but I think it's a shame to turn him. That documentary they did on him for the Network just exposed what a humble and likeable guy he was, and also really showed you what an impact he's having on fans of all generations. I know he'll be great in the role if they do in fact go that route, but it's a bit sad. Joe as a heel to me makes a lot more sense.

She is the only one of the Four Horsewomen who hasn't been NXT Womens Champion so the match could easily be done by having her return to NXT and challenge Bayley

Add Vaudevillains vs. Jordan/Gable, Finn vs. Joe and Apollo vs. Breeze gimmick rematch and it will rule hard

According to the episode of NXT airing right now, Asuka will make her NXT in-ring debut on this show against Dana Brooke.

I have a feeling that Tyler Breeze is gonna beat Apollo Crews, by cheating. Crews needs a program, and Breeze needs a big win. Crews also doesn't really need the whole winning-streak/ build-up thing, since his appeal and gifts are so obvious.

I'm so pumped for this show. On paper the card might look a bit weaker than other takeovers but I think the booking has been great and they've done a really good job promotion the Tag Tourney and of course the Ironman main event.

Breeze needs a win and it's totally fine for Crews to lose here, especially if it's to set up future matches.

This is a lot of matches. 6 with one guaranteed to go at least 30 minutes. This Takeover is gonna go well over 2 hours I think.
I get the signs that Finn might go heel, but Joe just isn't that over to take the spot of top face.... unless they truly believe Bayley can be their legit top face draw.

Card looking weak might be because its the first Takeover without a NXT title match, also Gable+Jordan and Dash+Dawson competing for the first time, both just got a "credibility boost" (lets hope this will continue) For me this card is pretty much perfect, booking of every match was also strong, can't complain about anything really. Plus almost every match is unpredictable (Apollo's first loss? Gable & Jordan getting dat megapush? Big favorites Finn and Joe dissension leading to not winning the tournament?) I predict some shenanigans involving Cody+Dustin vs the DRTTCT winners, maybe Gable+Jordan officially turning face?? No matter what, I'm more ready than Pastor Troy!!!
