Sounds the most plausible to me. I'm kind of surprised he hasn't hit it big in Hollywood earlier. Not that I think he's the best actor in the world but he's got a very commanding, distinct presence and seems like he'd be super-easy to work with in that capacity. Guess we can thank Amy Shumer and Tina Fey for that ... Oh if you didn't know looks like Cena has role in the upcoming Fey/Amy Poehler headlined comedy film Sisters.

Cena taking an extended period off (by that, I mean two-three months) can be a very good thing for this company.
Cena is the eternal fallback. One way or another, the writers always return to John Cena went it comes to driving the top program. With him gone, they're going to be forced to switch things up.
Whether or not that simply means going to Roman remains to be seen, but this could be an opportunity to see what some other guys have got and to really freshen up the top of the card.
I really think getting some shine on the New Day tonight was positive change. When was the last time you saw a RAW ending with the heel tag champs standing tall after laying out four guys? A baby step, but one forward, nonetheless.
Also, I think it's imperative that Cena is written off in an injury angle because this is a perfect opportunity to make somebody meaningful. You have the chance to have a guy eliminate the company's top star for a decade from the picture like nobody has been able to do before. Even if it's Braun Strowman, it's the chance to make a guy look like a big deal.

Apparently, Ambrose is taking over for Cena while he's gone so I guess we'll see another major Ambrose run for a few months. Same thing happened when Reigns was out last year. This is great for Ambrose given he can show us more of what he can do.
