Those pink strips under Spillers' eyes not only look wrong but I doubt they work. Weird.

So how many more people can Dallas lose and be able to take the field? I mean damn. I couldn't even really get mad at the OT TD cuz it's just like: "Well, there he goes, running by a rookie defensive player."
And man, as awesome a player as Sean Lee is, he's Mr. Glass.

I think of it as the Bob Sanders Syndrome. You just cannot play safety in the NFL balls-to-the-wall like that without breaking a few bodies, yours especially. Sanders was amazing...and broke himself way too often in his pursuit of awesomeness. Lee might be cut from the same cloth.

It's just a shame, as when dude is able to be on the field he's GREAT. But I don't think he's been able to play even one full season yet. Oh, and it looks like Dunbar is going to be out long term too. That decision not to draft a running back is looking dumber all the time.

Let the Fins and Colts trade coaches because, well, f*** it. I think that the Colts problem is that Jim Irsay isn't taking enough charge (I know, he's too pilled out to do that. Blah, blah, blah). The GM should do all of the scouting (which Grigson is apparently pretty decent at), but the coach needs to be involved in the player acquisition, which Grigson apparently is trying to squeeze Pagano out of to some degree. Sometimes Grigson addresses Pagano's concerns, but sometimes he dances to the beat of his own drum. I imagine Pagano really wanted an O-lineman in the first round instead of Dorsett, whose drafting only made sense if you were not intending to resign TY Hilton. Now, that is not to say that all of Grigson's recent moves have been terrible. Parry, Anderson, and Langford are all working out better than I'd hope. Getting Vontae Davis for a 2nd round pick is beginning to look like a steal. Some defensive veterans are breathing new life into their careers at Indy (Toler, Adams, Lowery, Jackson). Holmes is finally looking like a good player, even if he struggles a little in run blocking. Grigson usually gets good value out of 2nd and 3rd round picks (Hilton, Montcrief, Mewhort). He has famously struck out a few big times as well and put pressure on Pagano to get value out of those mistakes (Pagano clearly got tired of Richardson as each of his two seasons wore on). I think it is worth noting that when the Colts really needed to be secure in their blocking game today, they put Jack Doyle and back-up center Jonathon Harrison in as TEs and NT David Parry in at FB. Tons of beef put in between the defense and the backfield during those plays. That would not be necessary if Grigson had gotten a good RG and RT (though Reitz is okay in short spurts).

Fox crew, you don't put all the blame on Kaepernick for the Niners offensive struggles. You butts are forgetting he no longer has Crabtree, Gore, Iupati, and most importantly Harbaugh isn't there. With the money he is being paid, he can't use that as an excuse. He does shoulder some of the blame, but while he's making money, he's lost a lot of help from last season. Gore was a leader, Crabtree and Kaepernick had insane chemistry, Iupati was the best lineman the Niners had, and Harbaugh was the glue that held the Niners together.

I mean, I dislike Kapernick, but he has steaming hot garbage to work with.

Huge win for Seatlle bad loss for Detroit. At 0-4 the season is getting away from them.
