San Francisco 49ers: the way things are shaping up, it could be this season.
San Jose Sharks: either losing an NHL-record 71 games in our second year, or blowing a 3-0 playoff lead against the Kings in 2013-14.
Oakland A's: the fire sale and last-place finish we went through this season certainly qualifies. Or 1997 when we had to trade Mark McGwire, got three nobodies in return, finished dead last in baseball, and watched Mac break Roger Maris' record the next year as a Cardinal.
Golden State Warriors: Trading Wilt Chamberlain? Trading Robert Parish and a pick that turned out to be Kevvin McHale for Joe Barry Carroll? Passing up on Kobe Bryant and drafting Todd Fuller?

Atlanta Falcons: NFC Championship Game, 2012. Blowing a 17-0 lead at home--and a 24-14 halftime lead--was just tough. Didn't help that the Falcons were awful the next two seasons.
Minnesota Twins: 2004 ALDS. The one time the Twins were legitimately good enough to knock off the Yankees, Ron Gardenhire stays with Joe Nathan too long in Game 2 and blows a 7-6 lead in the 12th--then pulls Johan Santana early in a do-or-die Game 4, which leads to the inevitable 4-run Yankee comeback and win.
Indiana Pacers: Malice at the Palace. Just ruined the franchise.
Ole Miss football: 2011 season. 2-10. Blown out at home by Louisiana Tech. LSU takes a knee on the 1-yard line with 5 minutes left and the third-stringers in the game. The coaching staff literally not giving a damn by the end. Just ugggghhhh....

2006-07 for the LA Kings. The absolute worse team in the NHL(record-wise) and then the f***ing Anaheim Ducks end up crushing everybody en route to being the first California team to win the Stanley Cup. If that wasn't enough, we didn't even win the draft lottery that year. I flat out almost quit on the entire sport when that season ended. Luckily things are much, MUCH better now. f***ing hell you ain't kidding. Some of the early 2000 games were not that fantastic either. I got into many a fight at kings games. Oh and tonights game.

As an Orioles fan the 1988 season was the worse.

As an Orioles fan the 1988 season was the worse. Wasn't alive so I wouldn't know. 0-21 sounds bad but I sat through 30-3.

The 1999 Chicago Bulls.
Just the 1999 Bulls. The first rebuilding year after the dynasty. I think I watched almost every game out of habit as a kid because I seemingly watched every game when they were winning Championships. They were bad for many years, but I don't think you could get any worse than that 1999 team...and this moment.

Chiefs: 1994 team going 13-3 and having the best record in the NFL going into the playoffs. Then losing 10-7 with Lin Elliott missing 3 FGs. 2012 Season going 2-12 and the fans blacking out games 2013 Wild Card game
2015 is looking a hell of a lot like 2012 all over again. This is going to get bad.

That game where the Seahawks utterly curbstomped the Cardinals, like 47-0.

When the Ravens lost to the Dolphins, who had yet to win a game at that point, a few years ago really hurt. Especially when dealing with Redskins fans at school the next day. Fortunately, there's been vindication since then, but still. Come to think of it, I think the current Ravens season might be the new low. Complaining about the refs kinda loses some punch when you're 1-6, guys.

Not my favorite team but I'm pretty sure you can't get any lower then the Detroit Lion's winless season. For me for me for the Rams 09 1-15 Season. Two years before that 2-14.
The Blues that a hard one because there been a lot of heart breakers. Such as Brett Hull being traded. Being sweep in the first round of the playoffs after winning the president's cup. I think the one that stands out was in 2006 after the lockout when for the first time in 25 years they didn't make the playoffs.
The Cardinals I have to say the Early 90's when they where playing really bad. I call it the post Whitey pre Tony era. Team wasn't winning and didn't have much excitement. You can say the other standout I guess was the recently when Pujols left. The reaction of it you can tell so many fans where hard broken buy it.

Boston Celtics 1996. They won only 15 games that year and lost out on the Tim Duncan lottery.

Ravens - One of three, either watching the Monday night game against the Steelers where even recently retired Jerome Bettis said the Ravens were playing like they had no heart. Think they lost like 34-7.
Or having to watch either Billy Cundiff's missed 36 yard FG by about 36 yards, or watching the game against NE after our Super Bowl year. Flacco had come off getting his knee busted off a helmet in the Monday Night Game against the Lions, and he couldn't even move. But we were still the 6 seed at the time so he tried to play through it. I still remember the one play Joe tries to scramble up the pocket and he just crumbled to the ground because he just couldn't run. Think we lost like 48-7, and ultimately missed the playoffs for the first time in the Flacco-Harbaugh era.
