I think even if they called a horse collar, Payton would have challenged the play since it seemed to snap after 0:00

Man, this was the same team Carolina beat three weeks ago....maybe Atlanta wasn't the best of the NFC East that I and many others thought they were.

Atlanta finds the end zone. 24-14 Saints 13:07 left.

I get home from work to see the Falcons losing big to the Saints. This is a shocking result.

Theoretically, considering how freak-ish Julio Jones is...this game isn't over.

thursday games are so sloppy. Then again when guys bludgeon each other on Sunday and then have to prepare and do it again 4 days later is it really any surprise?

That crowd went deadly quiet as if the Touchdown was worth 20 points.

31-21 Saints on top. 1:29 remaining.

They literally ripped the ball out of Matty Ice's cold cold hands.

Saints force a fumble to seal the game away!

I just don't get Thursday night games. Couldn't they just feature the teams that have a bye week the previous week play them? Four days out is a bit short for recovery time.

I really wish they'd go back to just having Thursday games on Thanksgiving. It made the games seem more meaningful. Now you have weekly Thursday matchups that are terrible 90% of the time.

That doesn't go far enough. With the god damn LIONS getting a Thanksgiving Game, there's a 50% chance of a guaranteed piece of shit game on Thanksgiving. Get rid of the son of a bitching LIONS getting the a Thanksgiving Game. I'd like to think even the most hardcore Lions Fans are sick and damn tired of their holiday getting ruined on a yearly basis.

I like the idea of rotating teams for the 3 Thanksgiving games

I actually like the fact that the Lions play the early game on Thanksgiving, so while you're preparing/getting ready for Thanksgiving dinner you can have it on as background noise. Then the Cowboys play the late game so after you're halfway liquored up you can yell at your TV as they're getting beaten or beating up on someone. I can do without the night game though. I'd prefer a big college football rivalry game at night.
The Lions and Cowboys should always play marquee teams though.

Also, the Cowboys should always play on Thanksgiving.
Lions too, but Dallas for sure.

I'm calling it right now that the Pats are going to lose to the colts. I know its not a popular pick but this screams trap game.
