Vordell Walker was the first name who came to mind. I remember ROH making a huge deal about him when he first came into the company. Somebody mentioned Erick Stevens and I had completely forgotten that guy existed. What about Brent Albright? Funny thing is that Erick Stevens was supposed to have Necro Butcher's spot in the wrestler, but the producers went with Necro instead. In my opinion the fans stopped caring about him when they shaved his Mohawk and he looked completely different. Like what happened to the show Felicity lol. I also wondered about Albright, but from reading the recap of Kevin Steen's rf shoot, Albright was a bully inside and outside of the ring, I bet he got weeded out. Ok I wonder about Masada. They were building him as the greatest CZW champion of all time. The guy wasn't just a deathmatch wrestler, he could work too, he had great matches with Generico and Davey. He was also getting booked at Evolve. Then he got injured and kinda came back but he left CZW for personal reasons. My guess was that he sabotaged himself because while I like him, I admit that the guy is a prick. It's a shame, I always thought that he could have gotten more over in other companies. I think that he could've been awesome in PWG. The reseda crowd would've loved the skewers spot.

No, the fans stopped caring about him after Gabe got fired and Peace decided not to do anything with him after the S n' S, Inc feud. he did months of random matches after the blowoff match before being put in the dead end Necro Butcher/Embassy feud along with everyone else Pearce & Cornette couldn't care less about but had to use because they were under contract

Poor Erick Stevens, I liked him, he was huge and could move well, Gabe was grooming him for a top spot when he won the FIP belt.
Gabe isn't perfect, but in my opinion, he has an eye for talent. I'm convinced that before he got fired, Tyler Black would've been champion sooner instead of Jerry Lynn, but according to Gabe, Cary Silkin wanted Jerry Lynn as the champion and they fought because of that. Gabe was let go short after.

Lot of interesting stuff from Erick Stevens here.

The Rockin Rebel is a lifetime indy guy in the Pennsylvania/New Jersey area. He was in ECW when it was Eastern Championship Wrestling until he left at the same time Shane Douglas won the ECW belt and crapped on the NWA belt. He wrestled Tommy Dreamer, Mikey Whipwreck, and a pre-beer drinking Sandman back in those days. He promoted a few indys on his own after that before having a run in CZW with Tough Enough 1 contestant Greg Matthews. Shame nobody does a shoot with him I bet he's got some great stories. I posted this story many years ago, but I thought since Rebel was brought up, I'd share it again:

Ultramantis Black. I remember hearing a whole lot of hype about him online a few years ago, and now no one talks about him anymore.
Egotistico Fantastico (Robert Anthony). He was getting crazy over in CZW, and then...? To a lesser degree, the same is true of Pinkie Sanchez.
SeXXXy Eddy. What happened with this guy? He was INSANELY over after Tournament of Death 3, came back from injury and wrestled for a while, and then, for some reason, limited himself to wrestling exclusively in Quebec (Eastern Canada) instead of continuing to work in American indies.
