You're only realizing this after 1), a month of them obviously going that direction and 2), them stupidly spending like six months building this thing up?

Eh. They have another filler ppv that they need to make matches for. Not that I'm going to watch it but there are worse choices for that spot.

Well, it beats Round 48 Billion of, "Cena and Rollins do all of the moves to each other then Cena wins or Rollins has someone run in and save him."

I like Kane and am glad to see him getting a spot like this. At least it makes Rollins somewhat interesting.

As tired as I am of that, it would at least be a good match. Has Kane ever been in a good match? His gimmick was the appeal and that became stale over a decade ago.

Honestly, at this point, I'd take it. I hate to say it, as I was one of his biggest fans back in the day, but I'm truly sick of Kane.

Seriously. I can't believe they gave Rollins the title this early either. 2016 he'd have been ready.

Hell, I think they should have done it months ago. Still say they should've just had Reigns beat Rollins for the title at SummerSlam.

Right now he's fallen into that bad pattern Randy fell into last year with Authority holding him back because in theory he's not the top heel. Things won't pick up for Rollins until they start the Mania build which i'm still assuming they do a Shield triple threat and Roman walks away with the title.

My impression is they are holding that for Mania so it come full circle. Which I think is absolutely moronic. Pushing it back to Mania's just going to result in a boring predictable main event, give time to breed resentment of Reigns all over again (which is already starting to happen), and keep dragging out this absolutely godawful Rollins reign even further when he's already out of challengers as it is. Plus it'd just be handcuffing them in a tight spot with Reigns since it basically means they'd nearly immediately have to put him in a dead-end feud with Sheamus as his first real story post-Rollins because the time on Money in the Bank'd be running out, which would certainly do nothing to help him sustain himself. At least if he did it now you could just do that as a throwaway Rumble storyline or something.

I don't mind because it has a backstory, but it really should have happened at MITB.

At least if he did it now you could just do that as a throwaway Rumble storyline or something. I can see where you are coming and I do agree that it would make the main event predictable. I think Reigns is ready for the title but I can see WWE wanting to give him his "wrestlemania moment" and in storyline it makes perfect sense for him to get revenge at Mania. However, WWE has blown their load on potential matchups already and they are going to be grasping for straws in regards to challengers. Ryback, Cesaro, or even Neville would be good one month challengers for Rollins right now but I don't see them being put in that spot. Same way I think Barret, Rusev, or even The Miz could be good challengers against Reigns if built properly.
