Royals in 3. Because if anybody can figure out a way to lose a 7 game series in 3 games, it's the @$#^%)_$#^% Mets

Mets in a very hard-fought 6. It's ridiculous to think the Royals are just going to lay back and let New York dominate them especially when they have the experience and came within an eyelash (and a Madison Bumgarner) from winning the whole thing last year. Three of their starters can throw a 1-run, 2-run performance and have enough to keep KC in the game. The Mets starters need to go at least 7 per contest, because that bullpen after Familia, maybe more so than the middle infield, is suspect as hell. They also need to slam Chris Young when he starts, 'cause I'm sick of watching his junkball throwing ass.

Weather reports say rain is possible at game time, but at least the chances of rain are going down by the hour.

I leave this to the historians here: Is that the first time an inside the park home run has started the World Series?
Edit: Nevermind. They just said it was.

That's one way to start a World Series. Similar to what happened in last year's World Series except Alex Gordon no where near as fast Alcides Escobar.

@aarongleeman: Royals are saying Edinson Volquez is unaware of his father's death. ESPN is saying he knows and found out on the way to the ballpark.

Tied game after the RBI single from d'Arnaud.

We have a feed. It's not Fox, but it's a feed. Let's go.
