Paul Gascoigne when he played for Middlesbrough.
At that stage of his career he was an overweight and unfit alcoholic who was earning a fortune despite not doing anything to justify his high earnings. In his final game for the team he broke own his arm whilst trying to elbow an opponent in the face, and Gascoigne was stretchered off the pitch to the delight of most of the crowd who had grown tired of his antics.

James Harrison is a terrific linebacker for the Steelers but whenever he opens his mouth something dumb comes out.

Albert Haynesworth. Snyder's dumb ass overpaid for a guy that didn't fit the system and came in out of shape(and never got into shape) Just a worthless player.
DeAngelo Hall. He might have been a competent corner at one time, but the only thing that he does better than get burnt by WR's is get stupid hot headed penalties.
Rex Grossman. Come on, it's Rex Grossman.

I'm a cat that likes to "root for the laundry" if you will. I can't really think of anyone that I've disliked. Usually I'll hate somebody when they go to one of the rival clubs.

Yes. I think that RG3 would still be pretty good if his knee didn't get shredded and rushed back. Cousins is some shit. He's going to get benched after he throws a bunch of INT's against Tampa Bay tomorrow. Grossman isn't even really that bad as much as he was just kind of there. I just like poking fun at him more than anything.

During his rookie season in 2009, I had a rather unpleasant experience with Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman and one of my friends who worked retail at a store in the area basically told me the same story from when he and Edelman crossed paths shortly thereafter. So I've always been rather chilly to Edelman, especially in the aftermath of the allegations of sexual assault in 2011 (which were later dropped).
That said, it appears you can mostly chalk it up to a young kid being immature, because I haven't heard a cross word about Edelman for the better part of the last three years.

49ers fan here. Let's see, I'll break it up into drafting and free agent pickups:
Drafted players any receiver in the 2000s (except for Crabtree; I still think he's a steal in that draft) any QB drafted in the late 1990s and 2000s Trent Dilfer and David Carr (I guess by extension any Fresno St. QB) Kwame Harris
Free agents Lawrence Phillips for missing the block on Aeneas Williams and ending Steve Young's career Jeff "Jump Pass" Garcia Wade "Wide" Richey

Stu Bickel. It just felt like all he really did was take stupid penalties when he got on the ice.

can't begin to describe how hard it was to like the Philadelphia Eagles when Michael Vick was on the team.

As in Anderson? I liked GA a lot. He was a great Angels player for his entire 14 year run. .. Then again, this might be a reference to something I'm not aware of. Anyways, for me(LA Kings fan), Sean Avery because f*** that guy. Not only was his his usual douchey self, but apparently he made a young Dustin Brown's life a living hell. He made fun of Dustin's lisp and the fact that he was committed to his high school sweetheart(now his wife) and wasn't sleeping with random puck bunnies. Brown took the punishment since this occurred during the first 3 years of his career(2003-06). No way that flies now.

Which is a good thing I guess, but it looked like the field was the last place he wanted to be.
