A possible Season 6 episode list appeared on 4chan. If you remember, back in April somepony released an episode list for Season 5 which actually turned out to be pretty accurate, so there may be some truth to this one as well. But for now, take it with a grain of salt: {Spoiler}  If it is true... {Spoiler}Overarching theme for Season 6 will be Twilight Sparkle being a Princess Celestia to Starlight Glimmer's Twilight Sparkle?
An intriguing concept, although I hope they will still put in a few map and CMC-related episodes. |

Coming from 4chan, I would have probably 100% thought so too.
But there is the fact that this happened earlier this year for Season 5 too and it turned out to be accurate.
Though I am also interested to hear what you don't like about this episode list if it were true.

I'm talking about {Spoiler}The whole Starlight Glimmer thing. I don't know if I'm okay with them adding her to the crew. To me, it feels like a "Poochie" idea. Then again, I don't really know where else that they can go story-wise. If they want Twilight to be a mentor, a filly that she could train from the ground might have worked better, since it could go full circle and have the little one report all her lessons to Twilight.
But that's all speculation for now. |

Episode 12 concerns me.
Episode 20 also doesn't fill me with confidence.
Afew on that list sound intriguing though.

{Spoiler}I would have also pegged that Twilight's mentor role would be reserved for Princess Skyla aka Cadance's child down the line. If they go down that route now with Starlight Glimmer, that door has a high probability of being closed. It depends on how believable they pull off Starlight's "redemption" in the season finale (or perhaps something for the season opener). Hehehe, at this rate MLP will overtake Fairy Tail as the resident "redemption city" series.  |

But I guess Episode 6 and Episode 10 for now.

Sure, they could infect Skyla with the Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome, but that would tick me off and I doubt the writers would be that cheap to do this.
However, I would not mind the show doing an anime-esque timeskip like it happened in animes like Dragonball, One Piece, Fairy Tail etc.. They even would not have to change the mane cast's appearance that much (although Spike and the CMC as well the other children would have to be adjusted). |

Well, King Sombra and Queen Chrysalis were never redeemed so we still have them as back-up.
