34 Weeks after it started, meaning we had 8 Ponyless weekends.
Let's hope it ends on a high.

"The Mane Attraction"...gets a 7/10 from me.
The Pros:
-Countess Coloratura or "Rara" was a very likable and beautifully designed character. Lena Hall did a great performance with her voice and I really liked the songs she did, especially the last one.
-Applejack got good focus in this episode. It was nice to see her basically help her childhood friend be "honest" with herself, showing that AJ can stem most of an episode.
-Great small stuff (reference to the second Pony chapter book, Twilight's "surveillance" spell, Pinkie Pie's role etc.).
The Cons:
-Sven Gallop was just such an unbelievable boring villain. Especially considering he did not even try to hide his dealings when caught and who disappears from the story by just quitting by himself instead of Rara firing him...which would have been way better. I really wished they would have done a G4 take on Zeb and the Smokemonster instead.
-If Rara did not know about Sven's dealings...did she use the demands herself? Or did she simply never ask why all those ponies gave them such expensive gifts and such? I feel that could have been explained better.
-The whole story felt like it needed to be a two-parter. It felt like it rushed too much into a too short amount of time, thus the moments never got their true potential to be felt.
Yeah, a 7/10 it is. Amy, thank you for your wonderful work, I hope you will be happy at Disney and I will remember your better episodes.
If I remember correctly, I gave the last three episodes a 7, a 5 and 7 again. Is this my personal weakest stretch of MLP episodes? Seems to me like it kinda limps towards the finale.
