...just because of how overly miserable and negative the fans were?
For instance, as I've repeatedly bemoaned in the Motorsports thread, the predominant online fanbase for Indycar are middle-aged white guys either kvetching about how the series isn't exactly how it was in 1994/1992/1982/etc etc, how there's too many darn foreigners taking rides away from American drivers, complaining that the cars can't be sponsored by cigarettes anymore, still trudging up the vitriol from the CART/IRL split, or chasing off any young person that tries to join their forums while bitching about how those damn millenials only care about their Facebooks and iPhones. It's a stubborn elitism combined with VERY rose-tinted glasses and a ginormous persecution-superiority-inferiority complex. Nothing in the world will make the (online, at least) fans happy and they're extremely quick to disparage the notion of anyone having 'fun' at a race, especially if it's a hated street course event.
Even though I'm an Indycar fan and enjoy that style of open-wheel racing, there's definitely times that I wish the series would close just to put all them out of their misery so they can have their congratulatory masturbatory "I told you so"s about how the series was obviously doomed to fail.
On the stick and ball side of things, and speaking as an Ohioan... they should never have brought back the Browns. I'll leave it at that.

I'd give just about anything for the Bengals to move to LA. Their fanbase can be insufferable.

I'd love it if Thursday Night Football went away. Awful standard of games and to make matters worse, it has Nantz & Simms on commentary

No, Chicago sports fans need something to let out their anger against. That's why we need the Bears.

The Cleveland Browns would be my pick to go. Don't think I need to elaborate on why that's the case.

Yes. The main one being Real Madrid. Their fans are the worst in all of world football. They boo their players when they have one bad play. Not game, play. Even to the point of vandalizing their cars and threatening their families. I don't even need to go into how much of a scumbag their ownership is and the way they treat their legends and their coaches. Chelsea would be a close second to them in the sport. "We're racist, we're racist, we're racist, and that's the way we like it, we like it, we like it." Enough said.
Alabama Crimson Tide. They have the most unbearable fans in all of college football. They're arrogant, they're deluded, and the vast majority of them have never even stepped on the University of Alabama campus yet they refer to them as "my team." F*** off.
Duke. Hey, have you hear that Coach K is the winningest coach of all time? No? Allow them to tell you that every other sentence. And did you know he does things the right way? Even when he doesn't like last year when he knew a player was being accused of rape for over 6 months and he did nothing about it?
Philadelphia sports in general. I realize not all of their fans are like that but, the sort of things they are criticized for seem to happen way too often there.
Thursday Night Football. Player safety means a lot, unless we can grind them out for one more game and a little extra money. Then, f*** them.

Pre-season football. No real need for this and just adds another chance for injury.
LSU - I find their fans to be extremely obnoxious. Very fair weather fan base in which many didn't become "die-hard" fans until 2004.

They should have bulldozed the football buildings at Penn State for all the crap they let happen there. That was the very definition of an institution letting children suffer because of the "Cult" created by... about everybody.
