According to ESPN, there's a "good chance" Alabama OC Lane Kiffen is retained on staff next season.

Keenan Reynolds leaves Navy with three major records and an 11-win season, the first in school history, after a Military Bowl win over Pitt. In typical Navy fashion, the Midshipmen broke off several long runs and finished with 417 yards. Reynolds threw for 126 yards, ran for 144 and had 47 receiving. He accounted for four touchdowns.

Awesomely me for Reynolds, he should have been in NYC a month ago but whatever.
TLN....I have ignored numerous opportunities to bury Texas on social media in the Aggie centric pages I frequent. I will not do it here either. A few years ago on this board I decried Texas Athletics for its greed and near destruction of the Big XII and at that time wished their network would fail but acknowledged that financially it didn't matter to them as they'd still be $300mil richer in the end. Today I feel that the ironic punishment has been enough and that Ghe d can lay off the bad karma anytime me now. Many fellow Aggie fans do not share my pleas for mercy but the hope th road is up here if they want to take it and you'll u don't even have to use a turn signal (BCS drivers I'm looking at you)

With Minnesota beating CMU, all three 5-7 teams won their bowl games.

Bob Stoops & Oklahoma look so bad in how they've handled Joe Mixon's off the field troubles

Braden Gall from Sirius 84 made a huge get production about the Orange Bowl staff telling everyone not to ask Mixon any non-football related questions or they would be escorted out. I got why the orange bowl dudes did this but it became story itself and its bad spin for them. Go ahead and piss off the press

Well Chip is back in the game He will sit out a year. If Sumlin doesn't win nine or sniff the SEC west title, they'll fire him and try for Kelley

The Arizona Bowl was interesting, but they didn't even bother making modifications to the Wildcats turf besides a haphazard placement of their logo over the Pac 12 logo. I think this'll likely be the only time this bowl is ever played.
