Personally I think they should've stuck it out with the Bayley-Alexa feud longer. I think they could've gotten a lot more mileage out of it.

Well, if not Jax, who else? They have literally nobody else. Asuka, Emma, and Dana are all tied up with each other and Eva & Alexa had their matches on TV. I think the Takeover women's matches may have kinda spoiled folks. Sure, it may not be to the same level but that doesn't mean it's gonna be a bad match. You got the most sympathetic babyface in the entire company taking on a monster that's gonna toss her around and do lots of power stuff. That sounds like it's gonna be fun to watch to me. I agree with the "we've been spoiled" point. I mean, of course, ideally it would have been Bayley vs Asuka if you want a match between established underdog and an absolute destroyer who just debuted, but they seem to want to have her do the goodwill face run before they turn her into the vicious heel we all know she should be, just like they've done with Joe.

Quick NXT question: My 35th birthday is January 20th. I am definitely spending the ensuing weekend watching live wrestling. Should the wife and I go for the NXT/Royal Rumble combo in Orlando, or the ROH show in Atlanta?

Should the wife and I go for the NXT/Royal Rumble combo in Orlando, or the ROH show in Atlanta? Really depends on the ROH card. I'd wager to guess that the NXT/Rumble shows are gonna wind up being more stacked though so I would go to that.
