I think worst of all is it looks like Finn is retaining which is a freaking crime.

Final Match * Finn Balor and Apollo Crews vs. Samoa Joe and Baron Corbin is the main event. Joe chokes Finn out and the refertee stops the match. The show ends with Joe holding the NXT Title I guess they're really pushing the whole gimmick of "Finn really is mediocre until he puts on the Paint" huh?

Balor's been getting choked out a lot by Joe, think they would've had one had show with him standing tall.

I think worst of all is it looks like Finn is retaining which is a freaking crime. I would assume Finn keeps the belt until Itami is healthy enough to come back and feud with him, that's always seemed like the plan
(But Joe vs Itami sounds beautiful too)

I'm guessing having lost to the Hype Bros. and being out of the tag title scene, we'll be seeing Make & Blurphy called to the main roster sooner rather than later. Presumably around the time when the Usos win the tag titles. Why does wrestling hate me? Well, I mean, it's kind of unavoidable. It sucks, but the New Day's basically beaten everybody at this point except them and the Lucha Dragons and nobody especially cares about them, most of all WWE given how start-and-stop their push has been even sometimes on a week-to-week basis. Plus WWE has a serious hard-on for the Usos and isn't likely to wait much longer to make them the focal point of the tag division all over again.

Joe was quoted as saying, "go night night, Finn. GO NIGHT NIGHT!"

I'm gonna wait for the feud where someone finally gets smart to this and steals Finn's paint before a show

I think worst of all is it looks like Finn is retaining which is a freaking crime. Yeah, that's annoying, especially because I really don't even see where he goes from here. Unless you turn him heel and have him feud with Itami, but I don't especially like Itami either so not something I'm that interested in and if you are going to do that it makes no sense to not just have turned him instead of Joe. I guess you could have Corbin beat Crews then have him take the title. That'd probably be my ideal, but I can't see it happening because the NXT title seems to be exclusively the providence of indy darlings at this point (not necessarily a bad thing, just a notable one) because they're what sells the house shows.

The Uso's are the reason the Tag Division got so stagnant in the first place with them never losing the damn things and then even if they did they immediately won them back
Rowan and Harper never winning the belts was an absolute crime...
And If WWE thinks the Uso's will ever be as over as New Day they're gonna have a Daniel Bryan level crowd turn all over again.

I honestly don't care if New Day loses the tag titles. I like them, but they're They're at a point where they don't need the tag titles to be over or relevant. And imo WWE's hard on for the Usos means they don't need the belts to be pushed either. I'm Just not interested in the idea of an Usos/BAMF feud.

I guess they're really pushing the whole gimmick of "Finn really is mediocre until he puts on the Paint" huh? Until he puts on the paint? In Kayfabe yes, Balor is very unsure of himself as a wrestler until he taps into the Demon, and has lost clean on many occasions, while with the Demon Paint, seems much more sure of himself and is able to retain his belt.
It's an interesting storyline because Balor seems to be reliant on The Demon to win, and always has been.
(And no I'm not calling Finn Balor a mediocre wrestler, because he's not. An Alex Riley/Miz Fan shouldn't be making those sorts of jabs )

Not his fault, but mostly on WWE for boiling down his character to "guy who wears paint in high profile matches".

I just feel there's a tendency for some to label someone has having no character just because it's not as easy to summarise as that.

BAM Factor rocking the Krueger stripes. So now Blake is wearing one of Becky's tops? Between the bleached blonde hair, pigtails, earrings, and now a crop top, they really seem to be implying that Blake is slowly transitioning or something. Oh no.... Is Blake going to have a Caitlin Jenner gimmick? Oh god...
