I mean when they actually pay the production people of course! Knowing that production people have been angry about not getting paid, made me curious about how far in the red TNA could be on just that matter and how much further in the red they go with each Impact.
Even though it looks like production has been cut back a lot they're still light years ahead of ROH and really any other American wrestling company that isn't WWE. I figure it can't be cheap!

I'm guessing each episode is about $50 to $100K, due to lighting, cameras, arena rental, and post production. However, that seems to go down in England, where the cameras are of a lesser quality and they use smaller sets.

Since they don't pay anyone, probably about $6.

Read an interview once about a TV producer who had made a pilot for 100,000 dollars. His pilot ran for an hour and was on MTV.
I'd say that TNA would probably be around the same in terms of production cost.

And this is why TNA needs to scale back costs. They shouldn't be paying $100000 right now. They need to take a bit of a hit to their production and repurpose that to the talents.

There's not much more they can scale back. They've already basically killed the lighting budget, they're not paying their production people as it is, the ones they do have are a lot more amateur than those in years past with a lot more in the way of technical f***-ups, and the best they can find for the commentators is either, "Pillow fort," or, "Stick them in front of a cheap green screen effect in Dixie's attic that doesn't cost a dime to do."

Not only have they already scaled back production, but they've become noteworthy for being difficult to get to even pay their production. Aside from the fact that the production people deserve the money for their work just as much as the wrestlers do, I don't think their cost cutting measures are to keep the wrestlers paid. That money would simply not be written out of daddy's checkbook instead.

Well, it was about that time that I notice that Dixie Carter was about eight stories tall and was a crustacean from the protozoic era.
