Language Warning
Doesn't mean completely ignored. Just did not really get a tribute.
I'd forgotten Ludvig Borga had died.

Surprised Sherri didn't get mentioned.

They didnt acknowledge the deaths of Kerry Von Erich (until they bought world class of course) or Dino Bravo when they died in 1993, likely due the the circumstances of the deaths.

The "Things WWE Wants You To Forget" series is stupid. I like his How Should videos, but that's about it.

Ludvig Borga was a white supremacist.
There are times I can overlook the company failing to produce an "In Memoriam" graphic.

Jim Ross did mention condolences to Ludvig Borga, but mentioned he was a bully. By the way, regarding Viscera, I think Smackdown and Main Event had this before the show started: They ignore all the crowds that Alberto Del Rio has killed. Triple H fired them.

pretty sure Candido and Viscera got "In Memory" graphics on RAW. don't remember Crush (weeks after Benoit) or Earthquake(might be wrong) getting any.
And to refute a previous post, Sherri's death was mentioned on commentary.

They ignore Umaga so much that Usos doing his running ass attack is apparently "Shades of Rikishi", who NEVER did that move

Given the nature of how a majority of these people died, it would be bad PR for WWE to associate with them. Crappy? Yes, but that's how the economic reality in a major stock-owned company works, bad publicity is to be avoided at any cost.
Plus, WWE can be petty as hell at times.

Nancy Benoit was definitely acknowledged on the Benoit tribute show, though I don't recall them mentioning her career in the industry. Of course once the circumstances of the incident came to light, then any mention of her was dropped.

Rikishi had a lot of ass-based offense, but mostly stationary stuff. I do agree that it was clickbait, but I looked at it regardless to see how a WhatCulture video works.

I'd actually disagree that it'd be bad PR; if anything, not mentioning the death of someone is worse when everywhere else reports on it. As for the video itself? Well, it's not hard at all to find times where WWE's been shitty over the years, and it's at least interesting to see them pointed out.

Do other entertainment companies publically acknowledge it every time someone who once worked for them died?
No.
So there's no reason for WWE to do the same.
