If someone picks him up, he is the luckiest QB ever, financially. Last rookie to get in the elevated rookie scale and got a pretty good contract last month. If I ever meet him, I will give him a hundred bucks to buy some lottery quick picks to share 50/50. After some thought I can maybe see Denver making a trade for Bradford. Unless he take a paycut, I think he is guaranteed around 20 million, I can't see that happening.

They were talking about this on NFL Radio and said something to the effect that most of his guaranteed money is signing bonus which stay with the team that signed him to the deal so it is a little easier than it looks for a trade. That said, as a Denver fan this would be a disaster. Bradford is talented but he cannot stay up right or healthy and with our line having to male changes in talent and in block scheme thanks to the new rules, this would be a bad deal all around.

Sam Bradford in Denver would be a bad idea. We saw what he did in Philadelphia and the only reason I can guess as to why people would think of him in Denver is.....he was a starter. Other than that, he really doesn't have much talent to be the successor to Peyton.

Players gave Goodell that power in exchange for a few hundred million more dollars. They willingly bought this upon themselves. I hate that this shit is continuing but the NFLPA has no one to blame but themselves. It really is kind of shocking the level of impotency the NFLPA operates under considering where it should be as a union. The owners have the leverage. Most of them make most of thier money in other businesses so a lockout doesn't hurt them. Meanwhile, despite making millions, many players live paycheck to paycheck and start getting antsy when the money dries up. On top of that, in order to weaken the commissioner's authority the players will probably have to agree to something (less money, an 18 game season, a team in London) in return.

Devner's defense won that SB, all they need with their current system is a QB that doesn't mess up and is on their feet most of the time. Not to talk bad about Peyton, but his last year as QB was garbage. I think they could survive with a Sanchez level QB if he stays healthy, and he can just manage the game and not be pressed to win a game.

9 News Denver's Mike Klis reports the Broncos inquired about Sam Bradford.
Klis reports the Eagles' asking price was too high, but the report at least suggests Philadelphia is open to offers

But someone like Sanchez or Bradford will give games away, which is why when Sanchez was traded for, I laughed at and the same could be said for Bradford, especially with Bradford's accuracy.

In surprising news, Mike Tirico is leaving ESPN for NBC. I wonder who ESPN will replace him with on the NFL & NBA broadcasts.

I love Tirico. ESPN is going to lose a lot a class, but that's NBC's gain.

In surprising news, Mike Tirico is leaving ESPN for NBC. Funny that The Kentucky Derby is in a week when this drops. Dollar says he's there.

Citing NFL sources, FOX Sports' Alex Marvez reports the Browns trading down from No. 8 overall in order to select Michigan State QB Connor Cook is "something to keep an eye on."
Would be the most Browns move

I Don't know but whoever takes Tirico's place will be a better commentator then the Raw announce team right now, heck I would like to see ESPN do a season of MNF in which we have guest Lead Announcers like Beth Mowens, Dave O Brian and the Coach throughout the season in the search for a new lead announcer aka what "Live" has to do this summer when Michael leaves Live with Kelly and Michael on May 13th

He right though. That is a basic life skill and not being able to is extremely troubling. It speaks to being coddled and that he's either surrounded by a bad crowd, lazy as f*** or will need the team to babysit him.

Are we talking about not being able to prepare a crown rack of lamb, or are we talking about burning rammen or canned soup. Then again, how this apply to on the field performance.

I'm thinking simple meals (a couple of steps above making a TV dinner so to speak) and not multi-star meals. As for how it applies on the field, if a person is lacking something as basic as the ability to cook, how can you trust them to learn the playbook, study tape, be on time for practice and stuff like that? It might be a reach but if I am going to invest millions in someone I wouldn't want that doubt.
