Another pushoff TD, though not as blatant as some of the others. Refs this season are so inconsistent that they blow hard.

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the Saints will not fire Sean Payton, but the team would be open to trading their head coach.
ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports Johnny Manziel will be named the Browns starting quarterback.

Rams fired OC Frank Cignetti.
Falcons coach Dan Quinn says it's an "overstatement" to say Matt Ryan is "overwhelmed" by OC Kyle Shanahan's system.
This is where we're at with Ryan's 2015. The eighth-year starter has only four more touchdowns than picks, and is on pace for his fewest scores in a full season since his rookie year.

Not surprised a QB is having trouble w/Kyle Shanahan's system. Down there in the ATL, has there been any talk about Kyle and his system and playcalling? McNabb hates him, RG 3 and Kyle didn't see eye to eye the year RG 3 came back from the ACL, now we hear about Ryan and his struggles.

Seahawks released CB Cary Williams.
Eagles released WR Miles Austin.
Appearing on NFL Live Monday, ESPN's Adam Schefter called Rob Gronkowski (knee) "unlikely" to return in Week 14 against the Texans.

Michael Vick, in continuing to rehab his reputation, will introduce a bill in Pennsylavania legislation called the "Pets in Cars" bills.
The bill allows an official (such as police officer, firefighter or security guard) to remove pets from hazardous conditions in vehicles, such as "extreme heat" or an "unattended motor vehicle," meaning the vehicle is out of the operator's sight.

Guess beating Chicago didn't mean shit. 4-8! 4-8! 4-8! Nah, that Eagles win did give them some cache.
Bad move to flex it out though. Levi's Stadium is beautiful at night, and combined with the Bengals all white jerseys? That is going to be a sweet matchup, looks wise.
Also, I wanted to watch football all day at the tailgate, since I'm most likely going.

This whole Manziel-Cleveland thing is such a joke that I wonder why guys like Pettine and to a lesser extent Gus Bradley even take these jobs. By the time these teams get off the ground and compete, they probably would have been fired. I understand there's only 32 coaching jobs but if I'm a hot name and I have my pick, and its for teams like the Jaguars or Browns, I'd rather make my six figures and stay as a coordinator. No amount of money in the world would be enough to get me to coach the Cleveland Browns.

Sign on for 5 years, couple million a year... do a shitty job and get fired in year two... sit back and collect checks for 3 more years. Tell me why I should stay away from this job again? I mean, at this point nobody on the planet is going to hold it against you if you failed in Cleveland.

Because for guys like Bradley who are pretty good d-coordinators, the chances of them sitting out for 3 more years just to collect a paycheck are small. If he got another job, Jacksonville would just pay whatever the difference is. I guess what I'm trying to say is is it really worth the headache, happiness and the money to suffer through this?

If he got another job, Jacksonville would just pay whatever the difference is. I guess what I'm trying to say is is it really worth the headache, happiness and the money to suffer through this? At worst they could think about it as job experience at the head coaching level and a temporary step up in pay. I mean lets face it also, when you get to the very top in any profession there's usually a bit of ego that creeps in there too. I'm sure on some level the guys taking these jobs feel like they could be the one to turn things around for the franchise too. Using Bradley as an example again, the guy isn't going to stop being an excellent D-Coordinator either. To me anyway, he's proven to be a pretty good head coach for what he's got down there in Jax also. If they decide to go another route at the end of the year, which I don't think they will, but if they do he won't be waiting long for his phone to ring to get another cord. job for next year. While I agree the Cleveland job with the management in place is a train wreck, getting on the job experience is never a bad thing.

Bill Belichick failed in Cleveland and it worked out pretty good for him and that was before Cleveland was a total laughingstock.
