Listed under GWF, WWE added a USWA show to the Network. The episode uploaded is from 1990 and features Steve Austin. The content added lasts just 3 minute, so perhaps they are not finished yet or there's an upload error.

Yes, they removed it. It was just a three minute clip from a USWA show that featured Austin v. Dundee, but not that actual match.

They added it back [fixed] and a second episode from 1991. GWF and USWA were not the same company, though.

So with all of this coming up...is it safe to say that the deal for highlights and interviews with ESPN also included "WWE gets to put all the ESPN library on the Network?"

WWE bought the footage around 2011 from the family of Angelo Savoldi, who owned the Dallas footage from after Jerry Jarrett bought World Class in the fall of 1988 (the Von Erichs continued to own the earlier footage from the World Class era until WWE bought that, too). It's the same deal as the AWA footage where ESPN has permanent re-broadcast rights since it aired on their network even though it now belongs to WWE. So far, the USWA footage seems to be from the syndicated shows "Challenge" and "Main Event". I'm not sure what the ESPN show was named. Global Wrestling Federation footage is easier because "Supercard" was the ESPN show and "Major League Wrestling" was the syndicated show.

I used to read about the USWA in the Apter mags as a kid but never got to see any of it until now. Awesome.

That makes sense, but it would be interesting if this plays a role- World Class gets more episodes, AWA from ESPN, and Global coming up and advertised over USWA. If the Network manages to pick up Abrams UWF, that'd be the full list.

ESPN can re-air it, but that's it. I don't know about the footage Savoldi had, but the Gagne family owned the ESPN footage of the AWA just like any other AWA footage. It was included in what was sold to WWE in 2003.

They've been focusing on episodes with Shawn Michaels and Austin. One of the Mid South had Michaels/Jake Roberts, I saw him vs OMG in WCCW, and some of the AWA is the Midnight Rockers. If they put up all of the WCCW to USWA I will be beyond happy. I used to stay up really late to watch the KTVT show on the weekend. I want to rematch Kerry/the Punisher for the Texas title.

So it's the straight USWA eps. as opposed to GWF's "Legends of Professional Wrestling" repackaging? I saw a mention that this was a KVTV airing...which would be interesting if WWE owns these runs. The one GWF show they had for Black History Month was also Major League Wrestling, as opposed to ESPN Supercard. Do they have the very end of the company, I wonder? As in 1993-94 when all that was left was the syndicated GWF?

If it wasn't, I wouldn't have been able to watch, as KTVT was a "superstation" that I got on my parents' huge satellite dish.

Yeah, all the episodes that are up so far are actually USWA Dallas, which was a separate company to the GWF. It just so happened that the USWA left Dallas right as the GWF was starting up, and there was kind of a handover of talent. They could have easily stuck these episodes into the WCCW bucket, as it's pretty much a continuation of the same lineage.
