Continuing the trend of Christmas threads, I should break out stuff related to music. Here are some songs that I make a point to listen to every Christmas. Feel free to share your favorites.

Brian Setzer's version of O Holy Night is I think very beautiful:
There's two from Bing Crosby's final Christmas TV special that I enjoy a lot, despite his voice being nowhere near as good as it used to be:

All too often this song gets over shadowed by the vastly more popular Miser brothers songs, but I think it's absolutely gorgeous. The dad's verse is especially great and I love the visuals of him singing the song...while Santa seems to recall this instance as we flash back to the present. I know there will be the typical asshole joke responses about "Hyuck, a perv old man in a kid's room while the kid is sleeping, hyuck!" but I know it's more innocent than that and it's just a beautiful song to me. I love it and nothing will change my mind about it.

Seeing him and the band perform "Santa" in concert exactly three weeks before Christmas was amazing.
Also: Darlene Love - All Alone on Christmas Perry Como - There is No Christmas Like a Home Christmas Bing Crosby - A Christmas Toast Roger Whittaker - Rocking

If were going to include carols I'd add:
In the Bleak Midwinter The Gloucester Wassail Lo how a Rose 'er Blooming It Came Upon a Midnight Clear The Sussex Carol God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen Silent Night

The Christmas Shoes...
...said me, never.
Snoopy's Christmas by the Royal Guardsmen is the one song I genuinely get excited for. Dean Martin's Rudolph which gets wackier as the song goes on ("Rudy the red beaked reindeer" and the German Santa) Darlene Love's Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)....reminds me of Gremlins. Percy Faith's album was great, esp. the songs I know from the WPIX Yule Log (Joy to the World especially...which opens the presentation...) Most versions of Baby It's Cold Outside (also that B&N commercial makes me crave a Bennett & Gaga Christmas album) Ditto for This Christmas, another song that's hard to mess up, truthfully. David Rose's Little Drummer Boy Donna Fargo's Santa Claus Is etc. etc. etc...she did a traditional version but also a disco version I loved as a kid. Bobbie Gentry's Away In A Manger and Scarlet Ribbons The instrumental of Sleigh Ride...you know the one if you heard it... The song from the UK about the spacemen ;-)
And of course:
