Yay! My team won a game! Next week I don't know if I am looking forward to or not.

With the Dolphins' loss to the Giants, the Pats clinched their 7th straight AFC East title, and the Fins are out of playoff contention.

With the Dolphins' loss to the Giants, the Pats clinched their 7th straight AFC East title, and the Fins are out of playoff contention. 13 out of the last 15 AFC East titles. (And one of those years they didn't win it was the Cassel 11-5 season) This season, like many others, was the year the other teams made big, sexy moves (McCoy to Buffalo, Suh to Miami) and were going to compete. The Pats lost some key guys from last year (Revis, Browner, Wilfork) and would be weakened. fast Forward to the last3-4 weeks and it's more of the same: The Patriots, armed with the best QB/coach combo ever adapt and thrive, while the other teams imploed.

They lost the division title to the "HELLO? YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME!" Jets in 2002, which was also the last time the Pats finished with less than 10 wins. Chad Pennington helmed the 2002 Jets and the 2008 Fins.

The AFC East since 2002 realignment has gone from one of the most wacky divisions in football to one of the most predictable.
Seriously, Indy leaving the division basically gave NE free reign.

Inept management across the board. Jets care more about headlines, Dolphins haven't been relevant since 2000, and the Bills haven't seen the playoffs since the Music City Miracle.

That and consistency from the Pats in the form of the greatest QB/Coach combo helps too.

Yeah, Drew Bledsoe wasn't just some scrub that Brady knocked off the depth chart. He got the team to the Super Bowl in what I think was the first year of those ugly uniforms.
