But they will forever have a free pass from me for making this track happen.

I want them to, in like 10 years, be in a Nabisco commercial, singing about how they did it all for the cookie.

Break Things and Re-Arranged are always the ones that will make me give Limp Bizkit a free pass. Anytime I have a bad day, those songs help.

Limp Bizkit are the Room of late 90's rock. Technically they're not *good*, but they're so stupid they come back around to being enjoyable.

When I think of Limp Bizkit (or any nu-metal band for that matter), I'm reminded of this skit. Get Thee Hence. LOL.

I can't say that I was a huge fan, but you CANNOT DENY that "My Way" was perfect for Wrestlemania X-Seven, especially in the video package for Austin/Rock.

I thought the Faith cover was actually pretty fun.

OK I will. They were a terrible band from a genre of music I find completely awful in every way.

I routinely tell people they're worse than Fred Durst.
That being said I still enjoy a bunch of their songs, as well as Wes's solo project Bigdumbface.

I know it's hack to hate them, but I do. They were SO OVER at one point that it was maddening. Every dumb kid in school had one or possibly all of those CDs, ready to wear it out at the drop of a hat.

I can't wait in 6 years when Limp Bizkut and early-2000's nu-Metal is nostalgic and better than the sounds of 2021

"Pollution" is an awesome song, and a great way to start one's debut album. Love the groove on "Nookie." Love the melody and Scott Weiland's vocals on "Nobody Like You." The post-hotdog songs I've heard (like "Eat You Alive") are surprisingly good. LB doesn't deserve all the hate it gets.

I'll admit, for a while... I was a Limp Bizkit fan. Of course, I was also transitioning to listening to only heavier stuff and was trying to find anything with a riff. At the time, MTV was really the only source for music, for me... as I had no idea how to check a band out since I was still unsure how to use mp3s and the like. Plus, I was still at a point where I felt it was a bigger win for a band like Limp Bizkit to beat out the Backstreet Boys on TRL than anything else... I was still a kid, basically.
I remember the exact moment I started to move away from them, and it was when the Hard and the Heavy collection came out. For a while, it was only mail order but eventually became available in stores. A friend of mine picked it up and asked if I had ever heard of Amorphis, as their song "Divinity" was on there. I listened to it and my musical world changed. I realized stuff like that hadn't gone away, you just had to look a little deeper to find it. At that point in time, Napster was in full force and I started looking for every band that used melody, solos, and old-school riffing... I found bands like Sentenced, Stratovarius, Metalium, and the one that ruled my world for years to come.. Blind Guardian.
At that point, I just had a hard time going back to Limp Bizkit as it all felt so.... bland. It felt like TRL music for TRL's sake. I'll admit, it was dumb fun for a while.. and as Fred Durst was the "cool to hate" guy before Nickelback burst on the scene, I definitely joined the hatewagon. But now that I'm older, i can look back on it as what it was... just dumb fun, dumb nostalgia...
