So clearly Brock's next real opponent is going to interfere right?

I'm suddenly kinda disappointed that ADR fired Zeb so soon because I can only imagine the shenanigans there'd be between Colter and Heyman.

Del Rio should bust out his MMA mask for this one.

I get thinking ADR has been a colossal bore since coming back, but what's with the complaints? Brock is finally facing a new opponent again, and they both have MMA backgrounds which could very well produce an interesting match. exactly. it's better that our "well that's gonna be a squash" Kofi match. or "how long will it take him to crush slow Big Show?" match. I'm definitely interested in this. It'll be cool to see an aggressive Del Rio try, get swatted or suplexed away, then come back with kicks and strikes. Very intrigued. And it's a new opponent. Win win.

Because we're going to get a couple weeks worth of, "OMGSUCHAGGRESSION," to build Alberto up for it, just like with Big Show a couple months back, and then the actual match is going to be a five minute squash ending in a DQ or something. Plus honestly even if it were an actual match I don't have much confidence in it being anything special, since Alberto has just been awful since coming back.

expect PLENTY of LoN interference ..... Pretty much. 8 suplexes. F5. Run in and DQ. If you're expecting ANYTHING else from WWE...well... *badnewsbarrett.gif*

Honestly I'm excited for this match. Alberto Del Rio's best matches as well with Brock's are against guys who have legit wrestling/MMA backgrounds or brawlers so they both should really compliment each other very well in the ring. Plus I remember in a WWE Article of wrestlers saying who there favorite opponent is to work with and so many of them said Del Rio so I'd imagine Brock Lesnar is going to have actual fun wrestling Del Rio.

This has legitimately been a pie in the sky dream match for me, only now I'm probably not even going to get to see it and it most likely won't be as competitive and clean as I like.

To be fair, he's "doing this anyway" because he's the United States Champion and a champion actually should be booked dominantly (even if WWE hasn't always done that in the past). But if you're having Del Rio crush people just to fatten him up to feed to Lesnar in a squash, then it just makes those guys look bad because they look like a "jobber to other jobbers". It's one thing to build a guy up to put someone else over, it's an entirely different thing to feed guys to someone just to make them look like a geek for yet someone else's benefit, because that guy just looks like an even bigger loser because he got his ass kicked by the guy who got his ass kicked.

As much as we like to crap on Del Rio he is a solid performer and will give Lesnar a test. This actually could be a great match.
I see it ending with Brock dazed in a corner Del Rio tries for an enziguri kick and getting caught, and Brock doing a running power slam to get the pin. Clearly Brock should debut a devastating power move to leave Del Rio as an oil stain on the mat.

Or Del Rio tries the armbreaker and just doesn't let go.

Its for the title too, will be interesting to see how they book that unless they take it off Del Rio before then. Del Rio gets himself DQ'd.

I hope it's the beginning of a time where Brock wins EVERY mens singles title in the WWE, and becomes the actual final boss of the company. He can do what Punk should've done and take them all away while the rest of the company tries to band together to take them back. Just to see Brock come out with the World Heavyweight, IC, and US titles all over his shoulder and around his waist would be awesome.
And I think he should be the face in this feud with the company. He's beaten everyone and then they build up a challenger to try and take one of the belts off of him, each time the challenger has the full backing of the WWE superstars and they cheat for him but it never works. This goes on for months until Brock starts turning heel by being cocky and refusing to show up more and more, talking in the media about how he's leaving wrestling for good soon. Then build up that big babyface to beat him in the middle of the ring and finally take one of the titles. It would put someone over huge to be the first chink in the armor.
Of course knowing WWE Cena would beat Brock for all three and they'd treat him like the greatest thing ever.

I'll quite happily watch this match. It's a fresh opponent for once, and Del Rio works stiff when he wants to (or doesn't like you) so it could be a great match if he puts some effort in.

So clearly Brock's next real opponent is going to interfere right? Which would be Sheamus. This is how we get back on the Road to Brock/Roman II.

Ugh, Brock shouldn't be anywhere near the world title. If WWE insists on pushing Roman, then Brock needs to be freed up so that other wrestlers can have the chance to do something "important" as well. Putting all their eggs into the Lesnar basket is what stirred up the Reigns resentment in the first place. The Brock Lesnar match and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match need to be two separate programs going into Mania.

Not a popular opinion, as Lesnar doesn't have a lot going on right now, but would you like to see him destroy Del Rio at the Rumble? I mean, just Erick Rowan him?
It sucks that he doesn't actually a lot of stuff they can go to as far as original matches go, so I would at least like to see him break shit for one of his appearances.

I think it could be a good match.
Also give Brock the US belt. Nothing's being gained with it on Del Rio.
