These people need to shut up and sit down and enjoy the show and just clap politely at the result.
Seriously, I think it's great fun. You don't like it? Hey, treat it as a life lesson that you sometimes have to deal with things that you don't like. Think of it as an opportunity for personal growth.
I thought they overdid it a bit with that one "Heyyyyyy Bayley ... I wanna know, will you be my girl" a few too many times at Takeover, but so what? I give them points for originality and subtract a few points for overkill.
But that "12 Days of Bayley" gives me a great idea: "One hundred Bayleys of hug on the wall, one hundred Bayleys of hug ..."
C'mon, everybody join in!

Honestly, I'm not usually a fan of constant chanting, but "HEYYYYYYY, HEYYYYY BAYLEY, OHH, AHH!" etc got a smile out of me.

They were great, IMO. I'm usually called the anti-fun one when it comes to the crowd but they got it. They weren't trying to upstage the wrestlers or matches, they weren't going out of their way to point out botches, announcers, fans or anything that wasn't the actual show. Even the singing during the Bayley match, it was a touch too much but it also felt real. They were singing to encourage her to break free. Could have done without the profanity but that is just me.

I loved it, but even if the "HEY! HEY BAYLEY!!" did annoy me, it was worth it just hear Corey Graves go off on the crowd for it.

I prefer "(Hey, Baby [Bayley]) Be My Girl" to "Hey, We Want Some Bayley".

It's amazing. A city with a history of sectarianism and division. One thing that finally unifies them. Bayley. And Gable & Jordan.

Tonight we got: "CREWS there it is!" "Which one's Dash which one's Dawson?" Dillinger and Corbin both got some expletive chants I'm not sure I can repeat. Big Cass to the tune of 'Hey Jude' for some reason. That's all I can remember atm. Predictably lots of songs in the style of football chants. Oh I'll repeat the Corbin ones: "You're shit, and you know you are." "f*** you Corbin" "Corbin is a wanker" Plus, "Enzo Amore" to the tune of Seven Nation Army The Dash and Dawson ones were my favourites "Are you Dawson in disguise?" (I think we actually chanted that one AT Dawson) They got LOTS of "Who are ya?"

Joe! (Joe) Always believe in your soul! You've got the power to know! You're indestructible! Always believing! This cracked me up. That sounds like a damn anime song. It's Spandau Ballet! Damn kids today, not appreciating the classics!

To be fair, to them those words aren't as harsh as in the US. In fact they are just conjunctions.

So when a crowd is dead, people complain. When a crowd chants stuff, people complain. Are we only supposed to be happy when they scream and cheer loud? Is there no room for creativity?

Few points: 1) That's a nice song 2) Now I'm picturing WWE as an 80s OVA 3) While 80s songs are fun, I defy anyone to make a chant using New Jack Swing(ie. BilBevDevo, Guy, Johnny Gill)

I know. Imagine supporting someone and getting behind them vocally with chants. Chants don't need to match the tempo of a match to be effective. And it's a house show - get over with who? The rest of the room? It gave the heels something to get heat over (telling the fans to shut up) and the faces something to play up to. Perfect example of this was Dillinger doing his "10" schtick then losing it when the BullFit Saved my life chant started. I presume it's to be the center of everyone else within earshots attention. Why? I don't know, maybe it's something as simple as narcassim. That chant didn't go on for seemingly forever like the twelve days of Bailey one anyway Well if we're going to take a different situation to the one we're talking about and apply the same answer to all of them. Why stop at that example? I seen footage these people at a rally chanting about wanting basic human rights and I just presumed they were marks for themselves, trying to get over because someone was filming it So to answer your question, no. Different situation obviously. These guys (and it was the same guys all night) seemed to not really care about what was happening in the ring and seemed to be chanting random s*** to get a reaction from those of us within earshot Its not really a different situation. Wrestling while pre determined has a sporting feel to it. These songs are sang at football matches. They now at times sing these songs at boxing fights and MMA events. It has now crept into wrestling. So what have they in common? Sporting events where you cheer on your favourites. People want to have fun. As long as they are not shouting crap like 'we are awesome' I think it adds to the show.

It does have 12 verses that get increasingly longer as the more days pass...

While I understand people not liking certain chants. It seems incredibly silly to me to complain about them. I'd rather they chant the entire show then just sit on their hands looking bored. Its like if you're watching a football game and complaining the stadium is too loud. While Wrestling is a sport/theater combo, its not like going to a play. You can be as crazy as you want within rules. To me, the louder, more rowdy and more creative the crowds are, the better the show is. All except the "We Are Awesome" chants, I'll give you guys that. That chant is horrible.

I thinking you're only allowed to mark for a crowd if you are the one who was a part of it and/or started a chant. That's how I'm reading the rules.

Euro chants are So. F'ing. Weird. See to us American sports chants are weird and have very little thought put into them. It varies. Some are a little too much to the point. In Boston, whenever the Lakers played, Odom would get chants of "Ugly Sister" abou his wife.

I prefer "(Hey, Baby [Bayley]) Be My Girl" to "Hey, We Want Some Bayley". Because like all of us, you know the young fans are basically unintentionally yelling "Want to f--- Bayley".
