I like both the first and second one. The second one's more gimmicky, but I don't mind it.
I remember, as a kid, thinking Joe Pesci was really menacing when he comes to visit their home in a cop uniform. I guess that was kind of the point, you're not supposed to trust him.

Last few days on another forum on the second one they said Kevin was trying to kill them with the traps To be fair, unlike the first time, they have a pistol and have already threatened him with it and stated their intention to probably kill him.

Uncle Frank is the greatest. Also love how his cousin(his real life brother) is openly flaunting his tendency to wet the bed. Traps in the 2nd one are a little too sadistic and disturbing.

Let's be honest, even some of the traps in the first film would be fatal to normal human beings.
Doesn't make them any less chucklesome though.

I love 1 and 2. My 5 year old has just started watching them and loves them too.

One of the films I watch every Christmas, I'll even watch the second one too if I have time. Still cry every time when I see old-man Marley reunited with his family at the end.

Funfact: Buzz's girlfriend seen in a photograph is actually a boy. Chris Columbus thought it would be too cruel to get a girl to pose for that picture.
Contains a so called Elvis sighting. Some people who believe The King Elvis Presley is still alive has cameo in the film. During the scene were Kevin freaks out at the pharmacy. CORRECTION EDIT: not the pharmacy at an airport were Kevin's mother meets John Candy.

Probably blasphemes but I think I prefer Lost In New York to the first one.

Lets also be honest-most grown adults are at least smart enough to not fall into those situations. Case in point: you see a can of paint on the end of a rope swinging toward you, you DUCK! not stand waiting for it to smack you square in the face.

Kate: How does a mother forget her son? Uncle Frank: If it makes you feel any better, I forgot my reading glasses

The theory about Uncle Frank trying to get Kevin killed makes more sense now.

I found this to be interesting, yet uncomfortable because of the injuries sustained from such actions. However, I really don't think that the brick part needed to be repeated. I was like "I get it!"
