Miz is pretty consistently awesome when they give him something to do. For all the flack he gets, he's nearly at Kane's level for spinning crap into gold.

"You are an EXTRA, get away from me!"
made me bust out laughing and fall in love with Miz all over again. I laughed so freaking hard at that line. Pure gold.
Just the way he said it. Not "you're an extra", but "you ARE an extra" just that little nuance made it perfect.

I'm interested in Miz trying to learn Neville's broad Geordie accent so that he can play James Bond. I hope it ends with Geordie Miz singing Blaydon Races on Raw dressed as 007.

Miz has improved by leaps and bounds, if not a Hall Of Fame induction he definitely needs a three disc DVD compilation down the line.

The Miz is so good at getting other people over like Riley and sandow. So, what you're trying to tell us is that eventually Neville will end up in WWE Purgatory never to be seen again?

The Miz is so good at getting other people over like Riley and sandow. he also helped daniel bryan get over during his start with the company I'd argue it was Sandow who helped him big time. In btwn Awesome Truth and Mizdow he was in a lot of nowhere midcard feuds and was starting to border on Del Rio level reactions until he found his mojo again as the "Hollywood" star. Sandow was getting good reactions in squashes and interectact with celeb comedy segments that usually bomb and during his fued that put Cody over as face.

Only thing I don't like about Miz's Hollywood gimmick is that it seems like it's made for someone fresh out of developmental or as a repackage gimmick to help a "bland" lower card character finally get over. It just screams "lower card" to me and Miz seems to have slowly dropped down the pecking order ever since he started this act, going from an IC/US contender, to 1/2 of a comedy tag team jobbing cleanly to the Usos, and now he's like a pure joke character who gets squashed by guys he would've been booked to put on "clinics" with four years ago. The only way you can tell he's still "sorta kinda important" is that he has MizTV as a vehicle to cut promos.

While I agree it's a gimmick that shouldn't be used on a guy like Miz, it's been clear for a very long time now that WWE have no intention of ever using him above midcard level any more. In that circumstance it's better to have him be a consistently entertaining and memorable character on TV than being Rileyed/Sandowed/Axeled. Plus, as New Day have shown, you can be goofy as all hell and still be taken seriously when the need arises. If they decided to push Miz seriously again, it wouldn't take a lot to tweak his character enough for it to work.

Really enjoying this storyline because it's just a goofy ass storyline that actually falls in line with Miz and his delusional persona. We need some more stuff like that.
