I just saw this on Pepsi's official Twitter. Could it be serious, or some kind of elaborate joke?

We're getting an Independence Day movie and Tommy Dreamer just wrestled on RAW. Anything is possible.

I thought it was coming back in one of those ways were only human vultures will get it and resell it for 5000% markup

The real question is: how long until they strike a partnership deal with Brad Jones?

Not in Canada. The government (I think it was the federal government, but perhaps it was a provincial one) passed a law in the early 90s banning the sale of transparent-colored soda because it looked too healthy (it resembled water). Crystal Pepsi was something that sold in Canada up to a certain point in time, however.

It's only coming back in very limited quantities (as of now). You had to enter a contest between December 10-11 to be eligible, and it's USA only.

I'd heard this was just a quick publicity thing and only on website sweepstakes. If in stores it could mean an eventual return of Pepsi blue?

I've been following this one for a while. A competitive eater/YouTuber by the name of L.A. Beast started a campaign to bring back Crystal Pepsi, and the whole thing just blew up until Pepsi had no choice but to bring it back for a limited time. After the contest, it's going to be available in US stores next summer.

How clear was Pepsi crystal in comparison?
