Eight, the Women's Championship match was a disappointment, same with Corbin and Crews. I really didn't like Balor's back paint and thought the entrance was the weakest one he's done. Other than that, the show was awesome. I thought the Womens championship match was the best match of the night. I gave it a 7, really enjoyed it. I wouldn't quite say that the women's championship match was MOTN but it was well put together, told a story and both workers came out looking really strong.

Everyone must've been watching a different show than I was. I loved that crap! Everything felt huge like it is supposed to.
Emma vs Asuka was a show stealer. Right out of the gate. If you expect better than that, might as well quit watching altogether. That's the best advice I know to give.

6. I thought Emma vs Asuka went too long. I thought Enzo and Cass should've won. So so match with a great finish. Thought Crews should've won. Jax should've won. Or else have a better finish. Bayley going for three chokes didn't make her look skilled, it made Jax looked dumb for making the same mistake three times. And monster gimmicks shouldn't be losing by submission so early! I would've loved to have seen her hit a shining wizard after the first choke had her groggy. I'm a fan of Joe and hate Balor's gimmick and moveset so it was hard for me to love the main event if even if it was a 5 star match. I understand the decision on all of their booking, it just wasn't what I wanted.

The opener was one of the best women's matches of the year. Both women brought it. Overall, the show was great.

I'm gonna say 10. Can't think of anything that show didn't do that needed doing, was my favorite top to bottom Takeover to date. Felt like I was watching the best wrestling show with the best wrestlers in the world and the audience was stellar. Everything felt like a big deal.

7 to 8.
Asuka vs Emma was the best match of the night which came completely out of left field considering I'm not particularly fond of either. Tag Titles took a little bit of time to get rolling but was a fun match. Corbin vs Crews was alright I guess. Crews is still unengaging as ever outside of flippy shit and Corbin has improved tenfold but still needs an experienced hand to lead him to matches that go beyond average. Fairly by the numbers. Bayley vs Nia Jax was disappointing. Nia is still green as gooseshit and I was so completely bored halfway through that I didn't even watch the rest of this one. Balor vs Joe was again disappointing. After Joe showing flashes of his old greatness against Ciampa recently and an actual storyline reason for Balor to really go all out in this one, I was expecting some brutal hard-hitting match. But it just viewed like any other Balor PPV match. Not that it's bad...it just didn't really fit the story they were telling. Dull.
So nothing offensively bad and quite a bit of stuff that very good. I'm just worried that NXT Takeovers are going to start to become formulaic and routine. Every other Takeover has something we hadn't seen before/in a long time on WWE tv. This Takeover didn't show anything new and risks hitting a rut in the future.

I gave it a 9.
I was entertained bell to bell. Crews/Corbin kinda dragged in the first half, but Corbin's trash talk made it worth it.

Woulda been an 8 from me but I took a point off because of the 'touched' graphics guy who kept mispelling "Somoa Joe"

I would give it a 10 but Balor's entrance coat annoyed me so I'll drop it to a 5.
Am i doing it rite ?

I give it a 7.
Jordan and Gable would have made it an eight.

I might be in the minority, but I thought the Women's Title match was well-booked. I was disappointed in the Tag Title match ending, and Joe should have won. Other than that, it was solid. "7"
