Tarantino and Disney. Never thought I'd see them in the same sentence. Well, some of his films were under the Disney umbrella, when Miramax was still owned by them. His more recent ones were from The Weinstein Company, a totally separate company.

Idiot thought he was gonna take on Star Wars. Way to not "get it." I so would've pushed my date well back or up. If Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip isn't going to change their date, why should anyone else? They're setting the standard on competition, man. By the way, I know this is off-topic, but I cannot f***ing wait for that movie to get destroyed in the box office by opening the same day as Star Wars. To be fair, Chipmunks is skewing towards a younger audience that might not like Star Wars. That being said, it's gonna get its ass kicked.

Oh, I'm sure it'll appeal to young kids and all, and that's completely fine. I just can't help but find the idea of Alvin and the Chipmunks going against the biggest movie of the year amusing as hell.

Okay, what's with this thing Tarantino has with making sure it's mentioned what number on his filmography a movie is? It's odd. Never seen another director, or any artist, do that. And for some reason, he doesn't count Four Rooms. I know he did 1/4 of it, but it should be included in the lexicon.

Why are films being forced out of cinemas? I mean don't most cinemas have 10-12 screens, isn't there enough room for all new releases?

He should call the co- oh. (it is legit petty as f*** for Disney to pull this strongarm move, but, as had been said, that's the picture business) Disney's response:

Good. Knowing this POS is unhappy makes me happy. Any reason in particular for that take on things? Not having a go, I'm legitimately curious.

If he thinks Disney are ruthless now, just wait until Frozen 2 is released.

Tarantino's body of work is outstanding, but I find the man himself irritating as f***. I can't be the only one, can I?

Nah, he's like Vince McMahon where even if I agree with him (calling BS on the movies-cause-violence set), he gets squirrelly and does not argue his position well. He's a genius as far as filmmaking, but walks the line between genius and insanity.

Idiot thought he was gonna take on Star Wars. Way to not "get it." I so would've pushed my date well back or up. He's not trying to take on Star Wars. He just wanted to have a film he more or less designed specifically for his favorite theater to, you know, play at the theater he made it for. and further more he isn't taking on Disney. He had a contract, and Disney is forcing the theater to breach that contract. He is not wrong to be upset, and can take legal action.
