Has anyone noticed Roman's been using this move like he's got them stored up in his special move counter? One is fine, two will still get a pop, but it seems lately he's been doing it more and more to anyone who happens to be passing by.
Less is more, Roman.

Sometimes Roman wrestles like that kid online that made a CAW of himself and made his running strike the Goldberg spear and just uses that over and over. But add the Superman punch to that.

I don't mind him using them a lot.
I mind Cole creaming his boxers every time Roman does, "SUPERMAN PUNCHHHHHH!"

It was especially awkward Sunday when hit Del Rio and Rusev right in a row and had to stop, reset and do the superman jump motion is succession.

My biggest gripe with the move is that it's not an actual superman punch. He doesn't fake the kick, he just kinda jumps in the air.
/muay thai rant

So you're suggesting the Steve Austin approach to Stunners ... use them sparingly, as if they were a resource that can't be replenished? While we're at it, when Randy Orton returns he needs to stop doing RKO's Outta Nowhere. Every once in a while he needs to do one outta somewhere to keep it fresh.

Not going to lie I love that Roman spams his finishers.

Its a weak looking move to, along with his spear. Thats a big problem with Reigns/Ambrose.. Their key offensive moves truly look like s***
You want to do a spear? Watch Goldberg for god sakes. He knew how to do a spear. DDT's? Watch Jake's old footage. The moves have to look real to get them over. THey can't look Phony

He hits hard, looks cool, and keeps it moving. Nothing fancy, nothing sadistic. f*** Ambrose's Double Arm DDT, though. That move was played out as a finisher 15 years ago, and what is a guy like him doing using a DDT? Isn't he supposed to be CA-RAAAAAZY?

I did like the one when he countered the pop up powerbomb with it.

Honestly, I mark out when he hits like 3 or 4 people with the Superman Punch in succession. It kinda has an Austin feel to it. Dude's gonna be the top babyface soon, he better be clearing rings by himself.

I'm personally willing to let it fly, I like Reigns' superman punch. I'd prefer he used it over his spear as a finish TBH.

Michael Cole being there to remind everyone that it is in fact a Superman Punch is definitely helpful.
I almost think someone is playing a soundboard of Cole saying "Superman Punch" whenever Reigns does it. It sounds exactly the same every time.

I just want a voice over of Joe Rogan from 194 yelling "OHHHHHHH HE SLEPT HIM!" every time he hits a superman punch now.

Anyone else know for a fact they're going to get quite the chuckle when Cena eats a Superman Punch?
I know I will.

It's no different from Austin hitting Stunners on everyone in sight. I don't mind it.
