I'd like to at least see an in ring segment with the Dudleyz...then Edge and Christian stop by as well. That'd be fun.

"OH MY GOD! IT'S JEFF HARDY! I'M GETTING GOOSEBUMPS!" "3 TIME WORLD CHAMPION, 4 TIME IC CHAMPION, 7 TIME TAG TEAM CHAMPION! I SWEAR MAGGLE, I HAD NO IDEA JEFF WAS COMING OUT, I KNEW THESE STATS BY HEART. HAHAHA I LOVE IT!" Or something to that effect. It'd be even better if he's stopping the Authority. "JEFF HARDY, FORMER WWE CHAMPION, 2 TIME WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, A TAG TEAM LEGEND IN THIS BUSINESS!!!!! WAIT. WHAT IS HE DOING OUT HERE, HE'S GOT NO BUSINESS OUT HERE MESSING WITH THE AUTHORITY'S BUSINESS!"

Vince: You left for that? We're giving you new names and gimmicks.
*weeks later*
Michael Cole: Here we have stuttering dyslexic brothers Ttam and Ffej Ydrah
Matt and Jeff: Eh....still better than TNA

But no seriously, The Hardys are those dudes. Especially Jeff. I'd love for both of them to come back.

Happy to have them back but they've left it a bit late in the day career wise to main event mania.
Also have the mental image of HHH trying to supress his sniggers as Jeff pitches the Willow character for an nxt run.

You can tell that Jeff is clean from drugs.
He didn't say something like " WWE ? nah brah, TNA is the future of dis busines!! With guys like Mahabali Shera we're taking over pro wrestling"

If Jeff comes back as Willow a return could be amazing.

Ric Flair was putting on classic matches at 40, 45, so I don't know why 40 is now automatic retirement in today's world of wrestling?

Yes, JBL flip flopping from marking out to heel rage is a definite possibility depending on who Hardy is interrupting. It's better than Matt Striker at the Rumble, though.

Ric Flair was putting on classic matches at 40, 45, so I don't know why 40 is now automatic retirement in today's world of wrestling? It's not automatic retirement per se. I like the Hardys and in fact wish that Matt had gotten a world title run in WWE. It's just that at that age, most people don't want to see wrestlers at that age in the spotlight in a major promotion when there are younger, hungry, or not properly utilized guys waiting for their shot. I'll watch an Indy show that has Matt and/or Jeff Hardy on the card, but not really interested in seeing them in WWE due to the way WWE handles big name older stars.

Oh boy, more part-timers.
No thanks. And I mean this as someone who idolized the original Team Extreme (Lita included). The 1990s are long dead.

Phrasing, Jeff. WWE won't let you end your careers the same way TNA have let you try to.

Ric Flair was putting on classic matches at 40, 45, so I don't know why 40 is now automatic retirement in today's world of wrestling? I don't think it's age per se. People (reasonably) fear that current talent will be sacrificed for the sake of these returning talents. There's some good matchups to be had out of a Hardys return, but WWE still can't book the tag division competently enough for me to be sure that it's a good move. It's also possible that Jeff ends up in the Daniel Bryan position; too over to be ignored, but the company fear pushing him beyond a featured spot in the midcard. That might not be good for anyone involved.
