R-Truth doing the Miss Universe gag on Raw was so extremely lame.
What are other lame WWE jokes?
I don't mean John Cena's jokes, I mean ones clearing made by the writers they have on staff.
*Skilled comedic writers would never work for the WWE, so there should be tons of these with the amount the WWE pumps out bad humor.

I didn't think they R-Truth thing was lame. The timing was too perfect not to do something like that.

I didn't think they R-Truth thing was lame. The timing was too perfect not to do something like that. The rare time WWE does something that is very current, people hate it. If the late night talk shows weren't on holiday hiatus, they would did the same joke.

I didn't think they R-Truth thing was lame. The timing was too perfect not to do something like that. Especially with Truths running shtick of getting things wrong. In fact instead of lame I'd say it was as well played as the Trish/Shelton/Vince Monday Night Football parody in both timeliness and character.

They need to leave the jokes up to the wrestlers themselves because a lot of them have great timing. Reigns for example, look at the Summerslam 2K15 character reveal. Reigns was great on his feet.

Mistico's entire Sin Cara run.
Oh wait... you meant verbal jokes?
Close enough.

Jillian screaming "Leave Britney Alone!" It came out of nowhere, had nothing to do with the segment and came across as the WWE trying to force humor.

That time they had a women chasing a tiger with a golf club.
Also, I think it was the same episode where they bizarrely had a not very good impersonator of someone... I want to say Roberto De Niro? Show up backstage and I think everybody acted like it was the real deal.
I think it was also the same episode too where they spent 10 minutes making crap jokes about Enus sounding like Penis.

The Slammys thread reminded me of Seth Rollins calling Johnny Manziel, "Johnny Idiot Face," and something about that feels like the perfect summation of WWE's playground-caliber sense of humour.

Any time they f***ing try to fit in with pop culture instead of creating pop culture.
Some things that come to mind are like when Maria won Diva of the Year in 2009 and Batista interrupted and did the Kanye West interrupting Taylor Swift bit. f*** you.
Or everytime JBL kept making references to Ricky Gervais being a controversial host of the Golden Globes on RAW this past week. f*** you.
There is plenty more but those two have me so blinded with hate that I'm afraid to continue.

f***ing Johnny Damon hosting raw and a lady chasing a man in a tiger suit during his opening promo. I felt so embarrassed and bad for that guest host who had to stand in the ring while that played out around him. I also feel embarrassed and bad for myself for having seen that painfully unfunny shit. It's one of those times it felt like the writers desperately wish they were doing a sketch comedy show instead of wrestling.

I didn't think they R-Truth thing was lame. The timing was too perfect not to do something like that. Some people like Chuck Lorre's type of humor and think Jar Jar was hilarious, while others like Arrested Development. Different styles.
