Something massive happens on Raw early on in the year that completely shake things up. I don't know what, a huge return, back to TV 14, a massive debut, something.

BOLD PREDICTIONS/SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!

1. There will be an authority promo within the first twenty minutes of RAW at least three times in 2016.

2. John Cena will be cheered at least once in 2016.

3. John Cena will be booed at least once in 2016.

4. The Undertaker will hit the Chokeslam for a near fall at WrestleMania 32.

5. Kofi Kingston will narrowly avoid elimination at the Royal Rumble.

6. A match with Alberto Del Rio will end in an armbar submission, but Del Rio won't release the hold.

7. Alex Riley will not have a match on the main roster in 2016.

8. Ratings will stay generally the same, going up during non-football season and dropping hard during NFL kickoff in September (despite #7.)

9. Cesaro/Ambrose/Owens will be pushed, but not to the level they should. Their mentioned pushes will be seen as demotions.

10. Someone, at some point, will say they are done with WWE, directly addressing Vince McMahon in their message board post, in case he reads it.

11. Someone, at some point, who swears off WWE in a message board rant after a PPV will in fact return to watching WWE.

12. A birthday cake will be featured on an episode of Smackdown for some specific purpose. This cake will not survive.

13. The Rusev/Lana wedding will not go smoothly.

14. A wrestler will return to WWE to massive applause and crowd chants of "WEL-COME BACK!"

15. This wrestler will take away segments from Jack Swagger and Fandango.

16. The 2016 Slammy Awards will be the most prestigious awards show on television.

17. Eva Marie will make mistakes in at least one match in 2016.

18. Someone will have problems with their internet when streaming WWE Network and blame it on the in-ring product.

19. JBL will definitely say "MAGGLE" in 2016.

20. Roman Reigns will not lose the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in 2016.

Ok that's the basic stuff.. Now the more wild pitches:

Kurt Angle will return (limited schedule)
Daniel Bryan will retire due to injury
Sami Zayn and Finn Balor will be added to main roster
Seth Rollins will be a top face when he returns
Cesero depending on crowd reaction will get a decent push, and will feud with Tyson Kidd when he returns
New Day will get one minor PPV main event run... With Big E or Kofi getting a title shot.. Won't win it though
Randy Orton will return on a limited schedule
WWE title feud over the summer will be Owens v Cena
Brock's opponents over the year will be Reigns, Owens and maybe Samoa Joe
Sting will wrestle one more match towards the end of the year and end his career with a WWE win.
Undertaker won't retire in 2016
The main roster match of year will feature 100% lack of penis (well except the referee)
Shield as said will reunite for one night only probably at Survivor Series in a 4 on 4 elimination tag match.. Their partner: Sting ( see above)

Seth Rollins comes back to cheers, but quickly turns and remains heel (a la HHH returning only to turn on Flair asap)

Roman holds the title through at least Summerslam. He beats Brock at some point for the title before then. Cena doesn't win the title in 2016. Dean Ambrose hovers around the title picture, Kevin Owens nowhere close.  

Bray wins a singles title, but not world tiitle. Neville wins a singles title, turns heel because of his association with Miz. Rusev turns face. Lana is nowhere to be found. Either Cesaro or Tyson turn.

Hardys return. Kurt Angle as well, but Legends deal only.

Sasha joins New Day on her own, before turning serious heel main eventer down the line. New Day wins a singles title, but at some point, someone turns within the New Day (hey, I didn't say this was a wish or anything) to fight for the world title. (let's say...Big E)

Bayley, Hideo, Enzo and Cass, and Finn get to the main roster. We all collectively crap our pants wondering how Vinny will screw it up.

Baron Corbin and Apollo remain in NXT through 2016. Baron will end up leaving the WWE before year's end. Joe and Storm don't graduate from NXT as well. The Ascension return to NXT, Vaudevillains get repackaged. Emma moves up to the main roster, Nia Jax and Asuka dominate NXT until Nia comes up late summer. AJ Styles debuts in NXT. Gable and Jordan split. ZZ gets released.

Adam Rose, Sandow, Curtis Axel, Barrett and Ziggler leave/retire/future endeavoured.

Undertaker vs Kane at Wrestlemania, they both retire after. Sting has one more match. He wins this one. HHH has a match at Mania. Austin at Mania, Vince pays top dollar for Rock to show up, too.

Rhonda Rousey only shows up in WWE if she loses the rematch.

Hulk Hogan still blacklisted. Maybe in 2017 they'll welcome him back.

-Mark Henry retires, Kane & Big Show do not but only show up occasionally (switching between heel and face each time)

-The Authority ceases to exist - it is immediately replaced by a different evil boss

-They start to test the waters to see if they can bring Hogan back
-Lawler calls it a day as a commentator
-Kevin Owens wins the title, his first challenger is Rollins
-Hall Of Fame inductees include Sting (who does not wrestle again) and the Dudleys
-Brock throws an object into the crowd
-There is an NXT vs WWE Event
-NXT callups: It's a tag team revolution! Enzo and Cass, Dash and Dawson and Jordan and Gable

Dude, you must be a heavy gambler, you're taking some serious chances with these bold predictions!  Oh my!!!!


My predictions:

Cena returns and wins the title at a house show.

HHH wins Rumble.

HHH beats Cena for the title at WM32 with Vince's help.  Vince will then grab mic and tell the crowd that if you want something done right, you do it with family.  

HHH holds title for all of 2016.
