It's an awful word, one of my former friend uses it to describe everything and everyone. I see it all over facebook and tumblr, I see it everywhere, it infuriates me so much that this word exists. Why does it exist? I hate it.

Bae sucks, boo sucked, pretty much any trendy term for the missus does.
How about she's your girlfriend/fiance/wife? What happened to that?
Not to be racist, but let's see some old school cornball white terms of endearment make a comeback, huh? Where's sweetie pie? Where's sugarplum?

I don't get it. Like literally don't understand it. I guess it is supposed to be babe? If so is that second "b" too hard to push? Damn, I'm officially old. Someone get all these extra "b"s and get off my lawn.

I usually don't use it except for describing Mets RHP Bartolo Colon.
Bartolo is ALWAYS bae!

Frankly, I don't wanna be compared to food in a nation suffering from widespread obesity...I'll stick with "boo".

Just wait it out.
It'll disappear soon enough along with "shade", just like "fierce" did.

I always thought it was similar to "brah" and "bro"
At least that's how I hear my nephews/nieces use it

I'm in my late thirties; I don't think I've ever encountered it outside of the internet.
If I did, it'd be like: "How do you do, fellow kids?"

My favorite old school, white term of endearment will always be Ol' lady.

I just assume Black people invented it and White People stole it. Like most slang.

I doubt anyone likes the word "bae"; they just use it to fit in with what's "cool" right now.
