Just signed up for a trial of their streaming services and looking for some good shows to get started with. What y'all got?

You can't go wrong with any of the King of Trios shows. 2011 seems to be the most popular one. It's loaded with tons of Japanese talent. The last show also has the return of the 123 Kid and his match with El Generico. Sean Waltman brought back the character for this weekend and he did not disappoint. You'll have to see it to believe it.

for what it's worth, my favorite period is from Aniversario in 2007 to High Noon 2011.

Going old school, The Crushing Weight of Mainstream Ignorance from 2006 is probably one of the best shows Chikara ever had.

2008 KoT.
It was the Chikara show I flew from Oakland to Philly to see.
Loaded card, a lot of fun. Had some great Japanese, Kaiju, RoH, UK, and just a bunch of great matches.
If you watch it, when nakazawa makes his first entrance he rubs oil all over himself and than grabs this dude's hand in the front row and rubs it all over his oily chest. That dude was me. Gross, but super fun way to start the weekend.

Literally, though, if it has the word "Cibernetico" in it, it's worth your time. All of those shows are fantastic. The 2008 Young Lions Cup triad of shows are awesome as well, particularly the final.

The Great Escape
Chikara's one and only trip to Maine. Probably considered to be a throw-away show but it contains two of my favorite matches to this day: an Atomicos Match of Hallowicked, Ultramantis Black, Mike Quackenbush & Jigsaw vs The Young Bucks & The Heart Throbs and a very solid, very brutal Grand Championship match of Eddie Kingston vs Sara Del Rey in what would be her second to last match before leaving for WWE

Mr T L Wolf

He has the looks of Andre the Giant, and the strength of Barry Windham. Not to mention he's a hero to a few armadillos, a kangaroo and a small herd of bison.

Couldn't agree more! It was the first time I'd ever seen a Chikara show and seeing it live really helped me realize how awesome a company it was.
