I can't wait for them to develop the Asuka v. Nia feud down the line. I have a feeling they will have this match on the pre-Mania Takeover show.

I can't wait for them to develop the Asuka v. Nia feud down the line. I have a feeling they will have this match on the pre-Mania Takeover show. I was thinking the same thing. The crowd's reaction to the pan over to Asuka during Nia's interview showed that this could be a slow build to something pretty awesome. I love how well booked the NXT women are, and most of it is logical common sense stuff. From Emma's amazing reinvention to letting Dana Brooke find her footing (yes, the point of developmental, but they gave her time.) When Nia debuted and Asuka came in (I'd seen her work as Kana) I thought "this would be an awesome match if they ever decide to go that route". I assumed it would be for the title, but when that pan happened to Asuka I fan-boyed out.

I just started watching the NXT specials lately, and last night was the first episode of NXT I watched live. Is it typical to not see the NXT Champion in every episode? I was sorta disappointed I didn't see Finn Balor tonight or the aftermath of his feud with Samoa Joe. It's like old school Monday Night Raw booking. They tape a month of TV in one night, you don't see the top guys every episode. Personally, I think it's the biggest strength NXT has.

Raw would be way less stale if they alternated talent a little like NXT.

You'd think with their massive roster, they can have everyone show up every couple of weeks, even with a three hour weekly show. Give the last hour of each week to the main event storyline if you want, but just let Sandow, Axel, Fandango, do their thing every couple of weeks. Logistically, you can do a proper split of the roster, no? Not a hard split, and the rule doesn't have to be adhered to, but I'd rather give Sasha and Charlotte an extra ten mins one week, disappear the following week, then come back the one after. Episodic shows with big casts don't always show the same emphasis on all characters all the time (I'm thinking of Lost). If Nxt's anything to go by, you can have people just properly wrestle, without the need for stories, even.

I just realised....
Sami Zayn got kicked by Stan.
Also, I hope he keeps the flat cap & harrington jacket as his entrance attire. Fits him so well.
