I've tried to hold off on it, I really have, because I loved Bray Wyatt when he first debuted and really wanted him to do better than he has. But now? Get him off my TV.
Garbage, nothing promo's. A stable of mute losers. Horrendous feuds. When I hear his music I now want to change the channel.
It's over, Bray. Go away.

It's not his fault as much as it is bad writing.

I remember Bray saying in an interview that "wins and losses don't matter" a few months back, which probably sums up his own attitude to his gimmick.

It's not his fault as much as it is bad writing. Eh, somewhat. However, these kind of characters (sans someone like Undertaker but even he changed it up a few times) have a pretty short shelf life. He really should evolve some as a character since you can't depend on the mind games forever. As much as I liked guys like Goldust and Mankind, if they stuck with their 1996 personas for 2 years, they would have burnt out and no one would care.

First thinking he's a corporate champion. Then he turns into a goofball babyface world champion? So who is his Rock? Roman?

Bray's character needs a serious motivation.
He has to stop being the storyline and become the focus of a storyline. What I mean is that 'Bray Wyatt' is like a video game event, he's something that happens to your character, he's not a character that something happens to.

It's a telling sign that the only people they can beat these days are a bunch of over-the-hill legends.

Yeah, Bray is there get out of booking free card. Don't have a way to end a storyline satisfactory... just have Bray show up to interfere. Why? He'll explain it in a vague and creepy promo that actually doesn't say anything... done!

Even if he's in the office until midnight, the man checks out mentally at 9 AM.

He sucks. Bar none.
Easily the worst wrestler WWE's had in a long time.
He's absolute garbage.

That's all you need for the feud.

Ok dude I get opinions and all, but this is just straight wrong
I can name a ton of wrestlers Bray is better than on the roster right now. He's not the crispest of workers but I think that is kind of the point. He has had countless great matches in his WWE Tenure, and quite frankly is at least the second best worker in his own faction, I'd put Harper above him if I had a vote.
If you hate Wyatt, fine, but there is a point where your hatred turns silly, and that is it...

Ah yes Bray Wyatt. The cult leader who has managed to get one new person to join his cult in two years. Oh and how did that "anyone but Roman" thing work out?

I've haven't cared for Wyatt since the Bryan thing and then it got worse when he started singing non stop for the buildup to the Cena cage rematch. He just feels like everyone else just there with no meaning.

I've been done with him since the Bryan thing. Same. Then I got even more done when they used him as a bucket of ice to dump on Dean Ambrose.

Nah...I think you slowly just start dropping the cult stuff and just focus on just establishing them as almost like a gang, then you're free to do more with them.

I can't sour on the performer just because the problems boil down to things so completely out of his control. He's playing a character gimped by both the rating and by a creative team who doesn't feel like trying to play the gimmick smartly within that rating to compensate. They put him into pointless feuds he can't actually make meaningful promos out of, becuase he never has a motivation for what he does and the booking just throws him into someone's direction for a few months. He's still talented, and we're not seeing the levels of where Bray believes his gimmick can go character-wise, but it's on the people who make the decisions to capitalize on what's there. Telling Bray to go away becaue nobody will give him a real chance is like telling Cesaro to go away because he's just a workhorse who will only ever be used to make main eventers look good and only ever gets briefly pushed so that he can give someone else a win.

Honestly a lot of Bray's problems could be resolved if he would, 1), cut a different promo once in awhile, 2), win a feud of consequence every now and then, 3), stop trying to make the look darker and edgier and just winding up making it look dumber (like the red pants or those stupid horns) and 4), stop being used as a deus ex machina when you need a face to lose and not get a rematch afterward. I still wouldn't be his biggest fan, but those four things would help him a ton.

They aren't scary. They just lost a feud to two 45 year olds who had half their numbers.
