It is very disheartening to see how a great gimmick with a lot of potential to make new faces has been used for nothing by WWE.
SOMEONE should have broken off and turned face against Bray by now.
At least one person from Bray's past (who claims he broke free of his hold)should have appeared and teamed up with that person that broke off, only to turn on him later and rejoin Bray (to show just how strong Bray's hold is on people).
Bray Wyatt should be actively recruiting new members. Take some guy who is on a "losing streak" and have Bray send the cult out there to help him win matches. Instant feud with some layers to it. Will the face join Bray? Will he accept the wins? Will he fend off the goons, causing him to get distracted and lose more matches, spiraling further downward and eventually joining Bray.
I dunno, the amount of cool shit they could have done with this gimmick goes on and on and they only do the lames stuff possible with it.

He cuts rambling promos that mean nothing, his offense is not exciting at all, and he loses all the time.
Oh, and he's fat.

Changing the look up a bit isn't a terrible idea, but making him look like a doofus isn't. I'd have him shift toward the Texas Chainsaw Massacre style outfit he wore for a bit in NXT. When Strowman debuts, I'd have had him wearing a bag with eye holes over his head all Jason Voirhees in the 2nd F13 movie instead of a sheep mask.
They need something to do. It's ridiculous that Rowan and Harper haven't held the tag titles yet-and even worse that now isn't the time for it while New Day are still champs.

He's been drawing nothing but flies since they had to feed him to Daniel Bryan. This was the sort of gimmick back in the 1980s that they would have fed it on the carcasses of some curtain-jerkers until they brought him face to face with someone higher up the card. Instead they blew the shot on an angle with the incoming face of WWE and painted him into a corner. Whether that was because the intent had been to push Bryan back down to the midcard (which backfired) or because of WWE's usual M.O. of introducing a monster heel to be taken down rather than a heel to be built up (which would have been preferable here), the result is a faction few take seriously and which has not had any real progression since its debut. The solution may be to rebuild their heat by some recruitment angle in which we get some further exposition about how the Family came to be and who this Sister Abigail was.

Not to mention the feud with Cena which made all 3 of the Wyatts look like total geeks.

The guy lost to Jericho. JERICHO. The guy that lost at Wrestlemania to a ballroom dancer.
Stop telling me I should cower in fear at his very presence.

Thing is that anybody that is on a "losing streak" is either someone that who they're pushing as strong enough to make the top guys look good, or someone who is so far down the ranks that they'd never give them the spotlight that a "losing streak angle" would inherently involve. Also, with the addition of Braun Strowman, I think WWE are too married to the idea that potential members of the Wyatt Family have to have a certain "look", so if you're not a hoss with a big bushy beard, they aren't even going to consider you as a potential addition, so that even rules out the idea that a lot of people here have brought up of "throw the entire lower card into the Wyatt Family so they have something to do".

True. Though it would be great if they had they Wyatt's take out some undercard dude and then he comes back with a big bushy beard. Total revamp of the character. Kinda like how Festus came back as Gallows.

It's like Big Show; they figure they can book Big Show against anyone at anytime and he will look like a legit threat AND that other star will get some rub for it because, after all-he's a freaking giant! The problem is Big Show has been booked as a total goober for so long that he doesn't look threatening no matter how huge he is.

Bray's character needs a serious motivation. He has to stop being the storyline and become the focus of a storyline. What I mean is that 'Bray Wyatt' is like a video game event, he's something that happens to your character, he's not a character that something happens to. Man, this is so true. In fact, Bray Wyatt's really the early game antagonist, who is the guy that you think is going to be a big threat, but you shrug him off by the time the real villain is revealed. He's like that Latino crime boss from GTA V, where you believe the first part of the game will revolve around you ultimately having to do battle with him, but he is such a non-threat that by the time you're done with him, he's more scared of you than you are of him. The main issues with Bray are the fact that he's now the designated "Lack of Ideas Panic Button" where he'll be used to get the writers out of a plot hole and his motivation will be... reasons, and the fact that we now know his ceiling and room for potential, and as of now, he's maxed out.

It's a telling sign that the only people they can beat these days are a bunch of over-the-hill legends. 'Cept he's been decimated by the most over-the-hill legend of them all. Twice. In less than a year. At two of the biggest shows the company has. It's not his fault as much as it is bad writing. Eh, somewhat. However, these kind of characters (sans someone like Undertaker but even he changed it up a few times) have a pretty short shelf life. He really should evolve some as a character since you can't depend on the mind games forever. As much as I liked guys like Goldust and Mankind, if they stuck with their 1996 personas for 2 years, they would have burnt out and no one would care. I do believe that Mankind and Goldust had to shed their original personas, because nobody would've bought Mankind still being the disowned, failed piano protégé instead of becoming the representation of Mick Foley's agony and frustrations & if Goldust had still been the androgynous seeker of men, especially with the 1998 crowd, you would've opened up a can of worms that would have likely shut the company down. My main issue is... how does Bray evolve? He still talks in cryptic nonsense where, again, and I said this before, I wouldn't be surprised if he opened a promo by saying "As a young boy, I dreamed of being a baseball...". Yeah, Bray is there get out of booking free card. Don't have a way to end a storyline satisfactory... just have Bray show up to interfere. Why? He'll explain it in a vague and creepy promo that actually doesn't say anything... done! "I ATE A SNAKE ONCE!!" - Braun Strowman
That's all you need for the feud.
Pfft... you ain't done squat until you talk about taking that snake and making a pair of boots out of it.
