I know it's not for a thing that came out this year but I've liked a lot of the build up to Batman V Superman. I don't like the whole choosing sides stuff that's going on with fandoms nowadays.

Pixels. Its an inoffensive cute little movie. I still love how there were so many articles claiming that Pixels would be the worst movie of the year/decade/ever, and then it came out and suddenly everybody shut up about it. Talk about hyperbole and baseless hate. Honestly I feel a lot of the vitriol against Pixels was less about the film itself and more about people being sick of Adam Sandler's shit. Most of the reviews I've read/seen pretty much said "it's not his worst but it still sucks".

Roman Reigns. Sheamus. Yeah the booking and promos for them were shit at times but it's the most I enjoyed out of those two. Roman Reigns actually improved a lot and is working up there as one of the better in ring wrestlers with a series of really good matches. And Sheamus finally hit his stride in the character department of a overtop stupid cartoony looking bully.

Scream Queens Watch Me Sorry and What do you Mean from Justin Bieber Fifth Harmony (Not talking Worth It, just talking the band)
And honestly I like 1D as a four piece more than a five person group

- The Bieber album is legitimately pretty decent.
- I think I understand both the support and criticism of Caitlyn Jenner. On the one hand, visibility for a trans person is important and she was all over the place this year. At the same time, it's important to realize that her experience is entirely atypical and one drenched in wealth and privilege. I get that she never asked to be a role model, but it is what it is. In the public eye, you're going to be the face for transgender people whether you planned to be or not. It's tough.

Im still not sick of "Shut Up and Dance". To me, it was THE pop song of 2015 (with "Hello" and "Style" being very close runners up)/

Pixels wasn't bad, and reminded me a lot of Billy Madison in a way.

Scream Queens. I loved it. Also, Sheamus, John Cena, and Roman Reigns. Their matches have been good, its not their fault the booking is shit.

Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival. I actually haven't gotten around to playing it yet, but I've watched a lot of gameplay videos, and I liked what I saw.

Didn't Avengers: Age of Ultron have equal supporters/dislikers? Well I liked it well enough. I loved the shit out of some AoU. The only complaint I can come up with is its length, it could have shaved off ten minutes here and there (the Hawkeye stuff would absolutely have to stay, though).

I've soured a lot on Caitlyn Jenner for falling into the trap of internalized transphobia with a lot of the cis-normative stuff she's said lately. But I think her speech at the ESPY's was great and very much needed to be said. See, my problem with her ESPY speech is that it was a totally manufactured moment. She only "won" the ESPY because her reps told ABC/ESPN that she wouldn't do the exclusive interview unless she got the Arthur Ashe award. Granted, an ESPY award is on par with the WWE IC Title in terms of legitimacy, but knowing that her great speech and big moment was a backroom deal kinda takes a little bit of luster off of the moment for me personally.

But I think her speech at the ESPY's was great and very much needed to be said. In my own personal experience as a trans person, most of what she's said lately is 100% true though. I know not every trans person has the same experiences, but my own experience is very close to what she's said. Then again, a lot of trans activists I've encountered think they speak for everyone when they don't, and I completely disagree with many of them re: trans issues. Jenner along with Laura Jane Grace are probably the only two trans activists who have said anything I even remotely agree with. Love this post. The more we treat people of any community as freaking individuals with their own life experiences and viewpoints to be respected the better

Like others, Age of Ultron. One specific part I enjoyed which most people seened to have hated was the Hulk/Black Widow romance storyline.
I didnt enjoy Caitlin per se, but I enjoyed her bringing trans issues into the media, I prefer Laverne Cox for "celebrity trans activist" but Caitlin has definitely increased people's awareness and that cant be a bad thing at all.
